Please post your game applications for me to review here.
Current players: You can give me your recommendations on the applications through PM if you are so inclined. I will make my final decisions on Saturday the 21st, or Sunday the 22nd (depending on time).
Earth Name: Xavier Anderson
Personality and Mannerisms: Laid back guy, very much go with the flow, sometimes goes off to his own little world not paying attention to what goes around him, genuinely nice and kind, Smart, but not much 'Common sense', Gullible, yet sarcastic.
Basic Appearance: 6'1 Male, brown hair, brown eyes, Thin chinstrap beard, wiry build, 21 years old
Xavier is a 3rd year computer programming student, and spent most of his time either at school, studying, playing video games, or chilling with friends. Nothing particular noteworthy happened in his life until one fateful evening. He had been up most of the night studying for his finals for the semester, and went to take a break and fart around on his computer, when he noticed he had a new E-mail. The sender was from a man named Daxius Ambrosia. The name immediately piqued Xavier's curiosity, as it was not one he had ever heard before. The sender introduced himself as a prospective employer, looking to offer students enrolled in Xaviers program both a job and a scholarship which would pay for all his expenses, but would also alleviate any debt he currently accrued. Xavier was floored. He immediately accepted and met up with Daxius. At first, everything was great. His loans vanished, his bank account swelled, and Xavier was enjoying the amazing fortune that had fallen upon him.
Then he went in to the first day of his job, a week after the end of his finals. It was nothing he could have prepared himself for, even in his wildest of dreams, or perhaps, his nightmares.
Daxius was a man in dire straights. He owed quiet a fair bit of coin to a number of very bad people, and had know way of paying it off. He was a gambling man, but his recent stunt of gambling on a botched 'sure win' in a pit fighting tournament cost him more coin than he himself actually had. Now the higher ups wanted their money back, and he was very short on ideas to make that money back. He got wind of people making high wagers on dungeon delvers going into the great dungeon, and thought to himself, that if he had a champion, he would be able to play they game with the other 'sponsors' and make more then enough money to pay back his debt collectors. He procured the ritual used by many sponsors to lure in willing dungeon delvers, and quickly made a bargain with Xavier, using a bit of underhanded trickery on his part to play on the naivety and gullibility of the young man, giving him an offer to tantalizing to refuse.
Daxius is a Halfling with firey red hair, and glowing green eyes. He holds himself with a mishevious air, and enjoys fooling people into helping him make a profit of some kind. He likes to gamble, which is what has him caught in his current predicament, and his predilection for manipulation has caused him to summon Xavier for his help.
I have no qualms literally playing any character, mind you, I prefer playing males. that is my only limitation. I would love to be a random character
I am pretty welll versed with all of the core rule books, and have several pdf's of the dragon magazine, mind you I'm not so well versed with those. I am currently playing a number (I think around 7?) 4e games, and am very familiar with the rules. I regularly check for updates to the forums of all my games, several times a day during the week, and at least once a day during the weekends. My response time is also in the same ballpark, maybe being slightly less on the weekends. I like to think of myself as a quick and frequent poster however.
Well, unless we get a slew more applicants in the next couple days, it looks like I'll have two characters to choose between. Phuse will already be accepted for Turag's role (the cowardly orc) unless someone else wants to claim it as well. That will just leave S1NORGY and series0 (who submitted his character privately) to choose from. But we'll see, there's still a couple days for applications to be submitted.
