To make our collective lives easier please post your submissions in this ~~shamelessly-copied~~ diligently-written format. The Personality section is in that format because I ~~shamelessy-copied the idea~~ prefer a set of organized and lovingly-explained positive and negative traits instead of one rambling paragraph. The Character Sheet of course every box isn't supposed to have "xx" for a heading that is where you put total point cost for each section. Okay, another applicant's persuaded me to grant up to 30 points to the PL 1 build. The minimum remains 15. There's no need to submit two sheets, just keep in mind that skills modified by INT and PRE remain under the PL 1 cap (up to +11 total score). Everything else is capped at PL 8. By way of example:

Rand Ohm, son of a second-generation European immigrant and adherent of a mildly controversial pop philosophy, works as an astronomer at UO's Pine Mountain Observatory. Goes on climbing trips in the Cascades just so he could lie down in the dark with the stars over his head.

One day during ____________________ and gained abilities that defied explanation. He could shoot lasers from his eyes and see in the dark. More, Dan's reflexes and coordination became heightened to the point he could stand up to skilled martial artists in close quarters.

Notably the sample character's Defense scores saw massive improvement. Dodge and Parry climbed to elite levels despite the base character scoring zero in both traits. Even gained a point in Acrobatics a Skill requiring training of which the character has none.

This is consistent with the setting's internal logic. Call it the body spontaneously learning to move in new ways, any character could go from shrinking violet to Anderson Silva. Irrational perhaps but deliberate: the trope of avowedly mysterious transformations conveniently reflecting existing characteristics (even learned ones like self-defense training or field of study) does not come across as particularly coherent.

Automatic

1. Immortality
2. Characters lacking a STA score.
3. Enhanced Intelligence*, Enhanced Presence*.
4. Innate modifier.
5. Nullify or Weaken allowed but cannot affect other superhumans. A Flaw cannot be taken for this limitation.
6. Variable builds ~~based on mimicking another superhuman's powerset~~ that grant any powerset on the fly.

General Concern

1. High ranks of Regeneration.
2. Certain expensive Immunities (see number 2 from the first list).

Situational

1. Certain normally acceptable powers/modifiers may be disallowed depending on the powerset. E.g., Invisibiity with Insubstantial, Perception-based attacks tied to Penetrating and Extended Senses. This could change at higher levels.

*Abilities that temporarily endow the same may be accepted depending on the method.
