1. I am always up for suggestions on why or why not something should be changed.
2. As you are starting at Level 12 (ooh, the heady heights), I realise that your builds may not be quite what you wanted, or that you missed something, or that a power / feat / trait / background doesn't quite fit your initial first ideas on your character -- we've all been there, or that you and another character are effectively cancelling each other out / not contributing because they have the same powers / feats as you.
As such, at your first Extended Rest, I will allow you to change 3 powers, 3 feats, a theme and your background pick.
When you level to 13, you can change the same number of powers and feats and either a theme or a background pick.
After that, you will have to use the "rules" of changing a single power as you level.
3. I use the DDi Character Generator and this enables ALL of the 4e Books, Compendiums, Dungeon magazine, Dragon magazine, etc
If you have access to the DDi CG, go ahead and use it to build your character, if you don't and you need something qualified, just ask in the Character WIP & OOC forum
4. Ty, you can't threaten to burn my house down now ... because I am the GM -- you've seen what I did with the wind and the cat cages ... Mwuuuhahahahahaha
5. You can bring in a character from any setting, so you can have a Warforged from Eberron, a Mul or even a Thri-keen from Dark Sun or a Forgotten Realms Earthforger ... I'm easy, you are level 12 and at some time or another you may have been teleported to this world (it is based in the Forgotten Realms).
What you cannot do is be from the Dark Sun Campaign Setting and have powers from the Eberron Campaign. In this case, when you build your character, please use the D&D Home Campaign to build your character (if you are from Forgotten Realms, feel free to use the FR Campaign Setting to build your character).
I want you guys to have the freedom to create -- as I know you all are very creative.
7. Character Generation -- Standard 22 point buy
8. Starting Equipment and money -- 9,000 gold pieces, 1 x level 13, 1 x level 12 and 1 x level 11 magic item.
No need to buy mundane adventuring kit
9. I don't like the rules on magic item powers, that you can only use 2 magic item powers a day, so you can use all of your magic item powers once per day (between extended rests) -- so if you have 5 magic items with "Powers" you can use them all -- where is the fun in not being able to use them
10. Have fun ... oh, and in case you missed it, the Campaign is "Against the Giants" ... it's just a hint
11. You can score bonus XP for Roleplaying - but as this group is already awesome, perhaps I should take XP off for not RP'ing ... LOL
Noobie
P.S. I'll list on a forum how I've met the various peeps I've invited if anyone would like me to, but as I have had fantastic fun with all of them, either as my GM or as another player, I think any combination of any of you will be an awesome group to play with
