Mazurek the Lizardfolk Half-Dragon Monk

Mazurek the Lizardfolk Half-Dragon Monk

Name: Mazurek
Age: 15
Gender: Hermaphrodite.
Race: Lizardfolk Half-Dragon (Iguana Subtype)
Class: Monk
Personality: Quiet, reserved, slow to take offense, calculating, very slow eater.
Description:

The site refuses to allow me to post links until I have posted five times. I seriously doubt that people would like me to spam things.

Sooo... 10 foot lizardfolk with wings and four arms. Black body, appearance resembling that of an iguana, complete with sandpaper-esque scales. Firmly muscled body with complete lack of attire. Mammalian traits to the chest and abs. Digitigrade stance, tail resembling an iguana though with spaded tip.

I do not believe I have forgotten anything.

Backstory: Mazurek was hatched in a tribe of lizardfolk that has regularly seen to 'banish' members that display odd deformities, be they natural or caused through combat, such as multiple heads, additional limbs, missing limbs, or even hatching as a taur type. In his case he was gifted with four arms, which have served him quite well over the years, allowing him to strike quickly and with greater force when needed. He also has wings, marking him for the half-dragon that he is.

Like all of the other 'misfits', he was immediately sent to another part of the tribe that had been built generations ago when this 'problem' had started, situated five miles from the main encampment. It has since been turned into a monestary and all those that are sent there become Monks under the tutilage of a sensei that, for this generation, is a two-headed, white half-dragon. The distance is great enough that the monestary has opened its doors to all races, proving that the tribe is more open minded about others, yet still having that cautious behavior toward the world. The only problem that the greater majority of the races have, which they quickly learn to overcome, is that they are required to be like the lizardfolk, which is to say that all hair, fur, beards (especially from the dwarves), etc. must be cut and that all clothing must be shed, regardless of gender, so that there is nothing for the opponent during sparring matches to grab a hold of and toss the other.

Despite what others may think might happen in such a place, there is harmony amongst those that live there, even those that would be considered natural enemies (Drow and other elves, for example). Those with claws are not restricted from using them during their training and sparring matches, either. Those that have learned all they can from the monestary are given a ceremonial send-off in which they receive the traditional monk attire custom tailored for their unique attributes along with the selection of weaponry that the 'graduate' is most comfortable with, as evidenced during the years of training.

In the case of this Iguana-type lizardfolk, unarmed combat was his specialty despite an equal use of a quarterstaff and the Kama. He was given a Kama as his gift, and told that he would need to make his own staff for it to be truly fit for him. He was one of the youngest to leave the monestary, only 8 by human standards but very much an adult to his people.

He has since ontained various other weapons to use, including some that are usually only found amongst the lizardfolk. He keeps the monk attire in his pack at all times when not around his tribe, wearing nothing except fur-lined clothing in the cold months.

Many years have passed since then, the training never ceasing. While he has sustained injuries that would have caused others problems, the four-armed lizardfolk has moved onward to seek greater challenges.

"What is your favorite color, and why?"
My favorite color is green. Nature is filled with this color.

"What do you believe to be worth fighting for?"
What is worth fighting for is complicated. Do I fight for family? Do I fight for honor? Do I fight for anything at all? Knowledge is truly what I fight for.

"How do you like your eggs cooked?"
I am a vegetarian, so the only eggs that are cooked are those that belong to my male opponents once they have fallen.

"What weapon is more useful, a club or a spear, and explain your reasoning."
Both weapons are used with equal efficiency amongst my tribe. A club is used for striking the heads of enemies while a spear is used to skewer them. What would you choose?

"If you could have one wish come true, what would it be?"
My one wish? I would suppose needing to understand the reasoning for all of these questions. They are not conductive to long life.

I'd like to say Chaotic Neutral for how I portray the character on the MUCKs, but Lawful Neutral might be best here.

How would you get all the feats and stuff necessary to give him wings, two extra arms, and make him large instead of medium?

Also, watch out for Sir Dragonf*ck if you get accepted (Steampunk's Dread Necromancer)

Half Dragon would give the character wings, no?

As for the extra arms, I will leave it up to the GM whether to accept them or not. Everywhere that I have had him, in all the D&D games, it has merely been fluff. However, there was one time someone pointed me to one of the books that had a spell or feat that allowed it to be explained that way. I have long ago forgotten the source for that, but it might be the Complete Arcane, a Permanence-type spell. As for the large size, half-dragon adds height, yes? If not, 7 feet will work.

One other question, though... What would the rating be for the game, anyway? I have a couple of links that I'd like to share and will definitely need to know this, as the character is odd in other ways as well. This is my 5th post here, so I can now post links to the character images if such is an interest

Between a lizardfolks racial HD and LA, not to mention the LA for Half-dragon....

How would he fit in a first level game?

Also, I would tentatively put the game at R rated, even if most people would rather keep their games at PG-13.

Easily done. Just use the Savage Species rules regarding leveling up gradually. http://3edb.com/viewCharacter.asp?cid=16565 would be one of the ways that we could go about doing things. Scroll down to the feats listing and look at the three 'gradual level information' segments. This would mean that the first class-based level will happen at level 4 for this character.

As for the half-dragon's traits? Same rules. I'll need to have Alkain assist me with all of that when the time comes, though.

Regarding the rolls that I had done, what would be the verdict on me accidentally posting my dice rolls in the OOC thread instead of the one it SHOULD have gone into?

Yeah, I'll be helping him with the half-dragon stuff. As well as anything else he may need XD

Character sheet: http://3edb.com/viewCharacter.asp?cid=21981

Current Traits: Numb To Pain and Magically Superior Body.

If character must have the Hermaphrodite trait to be one in this game, let me know and I will swap it with one of the listed traits. Same with the height: if I need Giantism to be 10 feet, just let me know.

Otherwise, the character will be full male and only 7 feet.

Current Flaws: Hemophelia and Incredibly Loyal. If either are unworkable, let me know and I'll swap it/them out with another I have chosen as possibilities.

All other things are on display on the link.

Also, since I am starting at a Humanoid 1 instead of a class level, at least until level 4, I won't have any starting gold unless told otherwise.
