Games which do not utilize Myth Weavers resources in any manner are still prohibited and ads for such will be removed.

Hi all. I'm the co-GM, as well as a former player from fighing's first run of this game.
Just want to reiterate a couple of things about the game:
1. character selection: we are both much more inclined to accept solid archetypal characters concepts over "new" overly-complicated ones. I know that it can be fun to play a dumb, half-orc barbarian that thinks he's a wizard with dyslexia...but the truth is that the more streamlined the concept the easier it will be for you to write and rp them. That doesn't mean we don't like interesting character "hooks," (and we're not looking for boring characters) just don't try and rewrite the book here. We would rather have a well-written, well-played elf ranger or dwarf cleric than a poorly-written, poorly-played, shardmind hybrid monk/wizard. Also, no Drow...period. They're the bad guys, they're super evil, and you will be killing them. 'Nuff said.
2. setting: We want players to have an emotional reaction to this setting. The Underdark is where dogma fades, dreams die, and the "right" choice disappears. We want players with the writing ability, or desire, to make their characters truly be affected by the hopelessness of the Underdark. As such, if you're looking for a pbp version of a hack-n-slash game then this might not be the right place for you. We use a lot of combat, but we want the characters to be dynamic; to reflect on the decisions they make and react accordingly.
Good luck and we look forward to reading your applications!
I am quite intrigued by the premise of the game. I hope that you will carefully consider my application, as I am very anxious to play. Note that I have never done a Play-by-Post game before, but I will learn quickly. Here is my application:
