Don't know how many if any will remember the old commercial but there was a "There's no wrong way to eat a Reese's" commercial with the Count who supposedly sucks the peanut butter out first. Even though it's been almost 20 years since I saw that commercial it was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw Vampires and cookies. Perhaps it is a stretch, but that's my connection.

I even tried to find it on Youtube but there was only one link to a video that seemed to be the commercial I'm talking about and it was evidently taken down due to copyright infringement.
