The really freaking thing about this storm... it hadn't even made landfall off the coast when it happened, and it killed a woman in Toronto.

All's well on my side of the street here in NoVa. Never lost power, no damage, no flooding. The neighbors across back were dark, and I can't tell if they are back yet.

Last night, a bunch of people in my massive family were all gathering at my aunts house. One family member was coming over because their power went out, and right as she walked in the door, the power shut off for five seconds. It was hilarious.

Large pine fell, but luckily away from the house. Lost power last night; don't know when we will get it back.

Lost power at my place, decided to hole up in a hotel with my family once I found out that I wouldn't have power for a week.
