7. Ding Dong the (Giant) Witch is dead ...

Liame looked over the stuff, trying to recognize any of it--or at least get a sense of its value.

Giddis watched Liame going through the goods, but he wasn't interested, not even in the gold. He just wasn't in the mood for treasure. Instead he sat back against a wall, he would have took the bed but not only had he peed on it, it also looked to be the place where all those little giants came from, and on that nasty note he closed his eyes for a rest.

Liame, despite being sure of finding value in items, couldn't work out what the studdd leather armour was, it was certainly magic of some kind, but of what, he couldn't work out.

As Giddis stalks off, ready to wait to kill the young giants, Fina cannot bring herself to remain. She leaves the room in a hurry to find Liame looking over the treasure. She is not interested in taking what is there, but she does take a look for the sake of taking her mind off what just happened.

Despite Liame and Fina looking over the unusual armour, they cannot work out what it is, or what it could possibly do. It is definitely magic of some description, it has that taste you get when you focus on the arcana and apply that knowledge to a magic item.

Expertly sidestepping as Giddis' dagger flies past his head and into the young giant, Lakkariel glares at the Halfling's retreating back as he retreats into Morzul's room. Scoffing, the Genasi draws his sword and heads in the opposite direction to where Morzul fell, planting himself in front of the door just in case any of the larger giants decide to peek in and see how the kids were doing.

Liame walked out of the side room and back into the dormitory with the armor in his hands. "Hey, can one of you take a look at this? Fina and I can't make out what it is, other than the fact that it's magical."

Jinn's mouth dropped open as Giddis simply threw a dagger at the two young giants the second they woke, neatly slittle both their throats. Apparently that was that.

Well, their having their eyes open might have been enough for Lakkariel to be OK with it, but it wasn't for her. She stared daggers at the halflings back till he left the room, although he apparently didn't notice. Jinn felt completely at a loss. She hadn't expected such rash action. On the other hand, she couldn't do anything about it now - there wasn't any going back from that. She collapsed back on the bed, feeling even more drained than before, and stared up at the ceiling.

With Giddis having taken care of the hill giants himself, Neithardt breaths a sigh of quiet relief, content that he did not have to do so himself and draw the ire of the others. Not to mention, it was not to be a pleasant task to put down prisoners in any case. With that settled, however, he turned to more pressing matters, such as identifying the slew of new trinkets that Liame had located.

"That' Armor of Dark Majesty," He exclaimed, quite aptly able to recognize a more highly enhanced version of the leather armor every warlock should know by heart. "Do you see these studs? They're not actually that least not conventionally. What these do serve is as a form of latticework conduit for arcane energies, such that when you wield the right type of spells...Err...nevermind. The point is that I can get this armor to work properly for me. Can anyone else use or require need of this?"

((Also, finishing up that 5 min rest))

Rather excited to not only see an Armour of Dark Majesty, but to be able to take it as his own puts Neit in a very good mood. The warlord / lock then runs a practiced eye over the other items, none of them magic, but he has seen items such as these come across his counter over the
