Disappearing Threads

Disappearing Threads

For the last week or so I've been working on a character in ShamedShadow's upcoming Shadowrun game. Earlier this morning, the private thread he created for me mysteriously vanished from the Character Threads threadgroup, leaving me in a state of panic. For a while I could still connect to it via a direct link I bookmarked the first day, but any trace of it for me was completely gone from the forum itself. A couple of hours after that and even the direct link wasn't working for me.

I mentioned it in the OOC Chatter thread, then proceeded to create a new private thread so I could continue working on the character. It was working fine until a few minutes ago, and now it has completely disappeared, too, even though I can still link to it directly here.

I don't know what to do to remedy this problem, so I'm bringing it here. I hope someone can help me and, if so, thank you in advance.

P.S. I don't know if it's related or not, but I've noticed something else that is a little odd. Whenever a thread was created in any other threadgroup, a copy of it seemed to appear in the Main ThreadGroup as well. I haven't seen that happen in any other game here. I simply thought I'd mention it just in case.

Edit: Oh, it appears the newer thread was moved to a different threadgroup without me noticing. However, the first one did indeed disappear with nary a trace.
Edit 2: It does appear that's exactly what happened, and the link stopped working because he deleted the old thread. I feel like such a heel now. Regardless, sorry to have bothered you all.

Provide links to the missing threads, rather than a forum containing a haystack and telling us there's a needle in there somewhere, is a good first step.

The main threadgroup thing is a DM settable option.

EDIT: I can find one thread at least. It's on the 2nd page of the threadlist.

I'm sorry, but what attitude? He asked for more information and used an entirely appropriate metaphor for the situation.
