Message: Was messing around with a new format copied from someone else. I believe the last thing I did was add a new to close out a dangling one at the beginning of the post. (There are a lot of seemingly extraneous ones in there that I just copied over.) At first it worked fine; I could see the application and it looked pretty good. Now, however, when I go to the thread, that post is just blank nothingness, and the post below seems to be having formatting issues as well. And when I say blank nothingness, I mean that there isn't even any button for me to do anything with the post; no Reply, Quote, or Edit button shows up, so I can't simply fix it myself. When I refresh the page, the post flashes on screen for an instant (looks fine for that instant), but then goes back to blankness.

I'd appreciate it if someone could help me out by telling me how to access my post without the edit.

Yeah, that's caused by improperly nested tags, especially
and [private] tags, which when improperly nested mess up the HTML of the site. I'm going to try and hunt it down to be fixed.

EDIT: There, fixed. The problem was that you were opening a tag in the [r=1,1] field and closing it in the [r=2,1] field (or even outside the table entirely).

For what it's worth to this thread and others, you can edit a post without using the hyperlink to edit it. So long as you have the post number (the 12040078 number in your link above) you can manually navigate to the edit dialog.

Just put the post number after the "=" in

If you don't remember the syntax, just go somewhere and edit another non-broken post, then copy the stub URL or replace the post number with the one that's not working.
