Triad: Industrial Plane.

Yeah that's pretty much all the history that we have. The shadow world decided to take control, and war ravaged the three planes. We don't have the why yet, though I might have some thoughts as to a possible why. We really do need to get some more history out there. If you've got any thoughts, then please share them.

A special placeSeraf, an island surrounded by the western continent. This island, once just a wooded isle, became a place known to be without portals. During the great war many peoples came to this island to avoid the invaders and to keep themselves safe from war. The island soon grew from deserted to being a single city. It is the largest city in the world, surviving off of gardens, fish, and tariffs. Every merchant dreams of coming to this city to ply their wares. It is the single biggest market in the world.

There are rumors that many of the citizens of this island are pirates, and certainly they all know how to swim and sail. Though the history of peaceful emigration may cause some to discount these rumors, it cannot be denied that many ships do get lost in the waters surrounding the islands. The local people claim that the waters are dangerously full of reefs and rocks just below the surface. If you hire a local guide you should be fine...

The Merchant's Guild has a major presence in this city. It is their largest headquarters, and it is known that they basically run the city. Nominally the city is a democracy, but money talks louder than people.

The city's official stance is neutrality in all wars, but that really just means that they can sell to both sides!

Guilds ListMerchant's Guild
Thieves Guild
Craft Guilds
Carpenter's Hall
Blacksmith's Hall
Silversmith's Hall
Minstrel Guild

Can't think of any others at the moment. I'll expand more later. But I have the basic idea of Guilds being international powers with Halls being the local establishments. So Halls will answer to Guilds.
