Fantasy Grounds 2
Hey, Weavers!
Just finished playing a Pathfinder campaign using the Fantasy Grounds 2 and Team Speak 3 software, and I gotta say: I really, really enjoyed it. The software was a little tricky to install, but only because I'm using a Mac. Once we got connected (which required a simple work around) it was a blast!
It offers an intuitive gaming system that is both stylish and convenient and a clean voice chat that had no glitches. We used the Pathfinder ruleset, so building a character was as easy as dragging and dropping and looking up rules was a cinch. The gameplay (maps, pictures, tokens, rolling) was flawless and worked so smooth. All the little features are pretty easy to pick up, and it was a lot of fun.
I highly recommend this platform for live online RPing! Oh, and the deluxe version (the one needed to DM a campaign) is on sale right now through Fantasy Ground's website and Steam.
