"Regarding Territory"

I'm in a bit of a situation right now, sort of dragged into a bunch of wolf stuff that's escalating pretty badly. Is anyone familiar with the etiquette for conceding territory to wolves? I'm trying to avoid a mess and I'm willing to give up territory (what a dumb concept) if that's what it takes to keep everyone coming out intact.
In related news, my moderation of the site might be spotty soon. If that happens, I'll try to get Blackwing to step up to admin for a little while.
