That may sound silly, but what are best spells for lvl 3 Sorcerer? Best if with small focus on elemental damage.

Will probably take use of Energy Substitution feat.

Also, which levels gave us feats. 1, 3, 6? Or 1, 4, 7?

Grease is awesome. If you ask the GM, you can get it fluffed as a sheet of ice. Can't imagine anyone would object.

Magic Missile is, as always, a bread and butter damage dealer. Not elemental... but best you're getting out of a lvl 1 spell. And damn is it a good lvl 1 spell.


Wings of Cover come to you at lvl 2. Take it.

Take your pick:
Kelgore's Firebolt
Mage Armor
Grease
Obscuring Mist
Lesser Orb of Acid/Fire/Cold/Electricity

Do you really need two spells to deal direct damage? As a Sorcerer, it's generally best to diversify. Obviously, if you want to go with the elemental theme, that limits your choices a bit, but still, the wider your selection the better (in general).

I would have kept magic missile for 4 reasons:

1. It ALWAYS hits your target(s).
2. It won't make a bad day for your fellow party members should they beat you on initiative and get toe to toe with your target(s). Damaging or even killing allies with the splash damage of a spell like Fireball isn't going to endear your sorcerer to them.
3. Very little resists or negates force damage. There are a couple of items (Brooch of Shielding comes to mind) but they're not exactly cheap. Other elemental spells leave you open to elemental resistances and immunities.
4. No chance for your target to apply any Spell Resistance.
