Throwing my guy out there.
Name: Lenny 'The Mirror Bandit' Goodwin
The Grand Line is no place for a kid to live on his own, but that's how it was for Lenny. He can't remember if he was abandoned or orphaned, and really he doesn't remember enough to make a difference. All he has of his past is his name...and whichever sob story would get somebody to let him go when he stole a peace of bread or the like and got caught. of course, nobody offered to take the kid in, that would be too much work. he also found that as he got older the excuses worked less and less, and he had to rely on his ability to run more and more. Of course, one doesn't live on the streets their whole lives without learning new tricks. When he was twelve, Lenny broke into a house successfully for the first time.
His life became easier then as he had more comforts available to him, but also more risky, as breaking into homes was a major crime. This went on as the New Age of Piracy went on. Eventually, a pirate ship landed on the small island. Seeing this as an opportunity to make a fortune, Lenny broke onto the ship hoping to find a great treasure, and thought he hit the jackpot when he found a small locked chest in the Captain's cabin. Stealing the chest, and avoiding the pirates that hunted him for three days, Lenny was finally able to break the chest open. He was rather disappointed by what he found. At first he thought it was a shiny pearl, but closer examination revealed that it was an oddly reflective fruit. He tried it, finding it tasted terrible.
It was only a week later that he realized that it was a Devil Fruit, specifically the Mirror Mirror Fruit. He learned this when he accidentally fell into a mirror! Using his new powers, he has become a one-man crime wave, adopting an alternate identity as 'The Mirror Bandit'. Now he sets his eyes on the biggest treasure in the world, One Piece. The only question is, how the hell is he going to get it?
Lenny is a five foot four man with a skinny build, short brown hair, and a plain face. He really doesn't stand out in the crowd, which suits him fine for hiding or observing targets. When he is the mirror man however, he dresses in pure white boots, pants, shirt, vest, gloves, cape, domino mask, and feathered cap; even the caps feather is pure white.
The Mirror Mirror Fruit gave him the powers of a Reflection Man, able to travel through mirrors (as long as they were close enough together). He also had the ability to become reflective, so that he looked like whoever was looking at him, obscuring who he really was and sometimes confusing his enemies. As time went on, he learned to 'capture' a persons reflection, taking on that persons appearance, though if he lost it he couldn't resume the form unless he stole the reflection again. His victim will not have a reflection while Lenny has it (because Lenny 'stole' it), and Lenny will reflect as his real appearance (hence the costume). Finally, he is able to reflect ranged attacks back at his attackers, but not melee attacks.
Lenny is a consummate thief, impost er, and con man. He also has a lot of potential as a spy, though that thought hasn't occur to him yet. Beyond his fruit and criminal skills though, he doesn't have a lot going for him. He has no idea how to run a ship, make repairs, cook, be a doctor, navigate, and has no skill at all in fighting. Except for his ability to reflect ranged attacks, he's helpless in combat. As such, his standing strategy is 'Run away!' which he is surprisingly good at. Over time this may change, but for now fighting is not for him.
His only goal is to get freaking rich. And for that goal he'd gladly join a pirate crew. Other future goals will naturally evolve to make him more rounded, but for now simplicity is best.
Yeah, I'm submitting a non-combatant. I think Lenny would make an interesting addition to a crew.
