Issue Eleven: The Revenge Of Kang

Once his form alters he palms two weapons what ever is handy a gun and a blade if possible. Kang again we meat I am going to take that weapon from you this time. Seeing that kang has already opened fire. SH takes close aim and fires a shot at Kangs head.

Firing/Ty+1 karma for a yellow.

Energystar swings her weapon at Kang knowing that she had come to the right place. "I love it when a plan come together!"

Chris' shot did more to startle the villain than injure him, as both the pistol bullet and Blackbird's force attack seemed to no effect. You're going to have to do more damage than that to piece Kang's body armor or force field or whatever it is he has for protection.

Tom, meanwhile, leaps up from behind the table and swings for the closest opponent which, unfortunately for her, happens to be EnergyStar. Tom's swing connects, causing 14 points of damage (that's AFTER Body Armor is taken into effect). The punch gives EnergyStar the impression that Tom must be on the same thing Mike Franklin was on...

Brushing off the attack, EnergyStar decides to go for the "threat she knows" and swings her staff at Kang (78 Karma spent), hitting the villain hard enough to injure him, but not enough to take him out.

Kang replies by firing at EnergyStar (the only one who has managed to injure him so far), striking her for an additional 30 points of energy damage.

Sh switches up tactics and decides to try and snag the weapon from Kangs hand. He will transfer the gun to one of his new hands and grab a blade with the other new hand. He then uses both of his primary hands to grab for Kang's weapon once with each hand. Grabbing/ St Karma for yellow Grabbing/ St

Continuing his unexpected actions, Chris simply reaches over and takes the energy pistol away from Kang, making the villain give his "what just happened?" face for the second time in as many rounds.

Blackbird's been on the receiving end of those kind of enhanced fists just recently - and this guy doesn't have gloves on. Better yet, he knows that whatever he's on is going to make him impossibly tough. It's the perfect combination-

"Energystar - duck!"

-to totally cut loose. Putting his hands together, he powers up and launches a double-palmed force attack at Tom.

Force Blast, Incredible (40) with Agility Remarkable (30). Karma sufficient for a Yellow result.

EnergyStar ducks in time to see a white line of force slam against Tom, knocking him back a few feet.

"Ow!", he yells, "that hurt!"

Launching himself at Blackbird, Tom swings at the hero and connects with a punch just as tough as those Mike Franklin was dealing. Blackbird takes 20 points of damage and has to give me an Endurance FEAT.

12 Karma spent as I'm only letting you get a Green result. A Yellow result would be a Bull's Eye in this case, which wouldn't have really make a difference.

Energystar knows that Kang has to be the one behind this sudden superhuman strength that the members of this gym enjoy. She decides he is the one that needs to be taken down first. Like a dancer she spins her staff and makes moves that show her expertise in fighting with a weapon.
