When a GM is ready to start a scenario, he will announce the official "Muster" for that scenario. The Muster serves nearly the same purpose as a Game Advert here on Myth Weavers. The GM will announce what scenario he plans on running, a description of that scenario, what tiers are eligible for play, and when the game is going to commence. All Musters are confined to the Mustering Grounds
If you are interested in playing the scenario, reply to the Muster with the following info:
- Character Name
- PFS Number for that particular PC
- A link to the PC's character sheet on Myth Weavers
You may add some comments to your Muster if you'd like, but please don't clutter up the page. We want our GMs to be able to parse info as quickly and seamlessly as possible, and a clean Muster goes a long way toward that goal.
Unlike other Myth Weavers games, the GM does not select his favorites from a pool of applicants. Instead, he is required to cease Muster after he receives 6 players expressing interest in playing (minimum 4). There is no consideration given for the quality of a background write-up, past history with PbPs, or party balance. As per the Guide, the GM can show no favoritism. It is first come, first served. You may muster for as many games as you wish, but if you plan on playing two games simultaneously, you must muster for each with different eligible PCs. Be careful not to overreach with your ability to post in multiple games, however. Make sure you have the time and the level of commitment necessary.
Also, please refrain from mustering into a scenario that is obviously shaping up to have an Average Party Level way above or below your character's level, even if technically the rules allow you to play. The Coordinator reserves the right to veto any muster.
Once you have been selected as a party member, your GM will direct you to the main game forum, and play will commence at the appropriate time.
