Ok, two main questions. Firstly, what biomages do the Golgari have, at current? Anyone capable of doing this? It's a risky move, the other guilds coming down on them could be predicted. Is there anyone currently in heavy disfavour, on the outskirts of the Swarm? They'd have the most to gain from this.

Also, whilst I'm thinking of itfor info on Golgori style plagues, what the effects are likely to be, how they're made, and possible safety precautions we might take. Assuming, of course, that some kind of magic is responsible for their creation...

A handful of people within the Golgari are capable of this, including Idris. Fey knows the names of a couple others, and it is likely there are a couple more than she doesn't know of. Certainly Svogthos, Savra and the Sisters of Stone Death all have the resources at their disposal to engineer a plague.

The current guildmaster is Svogthos, but there are other factions within the Swarm that are vying for power. Savra has been consolidating support for years and is already calling herself Queen of the Golgari. The Sisters of Stone Death likewise have much to gain from any action that would reduce the influence of the current leadership, since it would make their own bid more likely to succeed.

Fey has the ability to answer those questions about a particular plague once she's had a chance to gain some information about it. At the moment she doesn't have any specifics to go on.

Looking at the sheets... does anyone besides Fey have ranks in Persuade?

Well, Fey's just put her foot in it IC. Or perhaps not, but now that the persuade check's done, I thought it best for her to ask something a little OTT. She should not be party negotiator unless unavoidable.

Ok, I'll run with three questions On Serach.

The first one would be 'have any noteworthy events happened within her restaurant? Weddings, assassinations, anything of that kind?'

The second would be 'who in the Simic is she still in contact with'? Secret information is, of course, out but who does she still see regularly from their ranks?

Third; Anything of interest in her history before coming to work for the Simic?

Celebrations, sure, but security is tight. No one has ever been harmed on the premises, or if they have, it was kept super quiet. The restaurant's reputation is flawless.

Serach knows her patrons very well, and always has plenty of time in advance of their reservation to prepare, and it seems as though she's very good about making all the necessary precautions. When entertaining a demon, for example, she'll have the entire dining room rebuilt in order to accommodate them. In many cases the entire restaurant will be reserved for a single patron, or a small group. Of course for patrons who only enjoy their meal when they are being seen by others, she'll ensure the dining room is packed.

That is not information that Fey has had access to. There is much speculation, of course, ranging from "no one at all" to "Mormir Vig himself", and Fey has had no way to verify any of it. Many members of the Simic Combine are regular customers, and many will have nothing to do with her.

Nothing that is public knowledge. There is probably a lot of interesting information about her stored in some pool of goop somewhere in Novigen, but she isn't publicly credited with any particular advances or species. It's entirely possible that she was a lousy biomancer, given how little anyone actually knows for certain about her career.


Of course this is just what Fey happens to know about her. With some actual research, who knows what she might discover?

*nods* Wasn't expecting much. Still, it's interesting the shear degree of customization and client care she provides. It suggests someone operating for the sake of skill, rather than profit...
