Update to my post:

I really enjoyed Skyrim, Arkham city, and I'm currently playing Overlord 2 which is fun.

I really wouldn't consider BG1 worth it. All the Infinity Engine games offer pretty much the same gameplay (don't get me wrong- it's *good* gameplay- but there's no special surprises)... and as far as story goes, most of the other games are better.

  1. Fallout 3
  2. Batman: Arkham Asylum
  3. Dragon Age: Origins
  4. Final Fantasy VII
  5. Pools of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor
  6. You Don't Know Jack (Any)
  7. Fallout: New Vegas
  8. Marvel Ultimate Alliance
  9. Spider-Man: Web of Shadows
  10. Planescape: Torment

Are you talking about the original Computer Game, or the console version? The console version was okay, but both of the Baldur's Gate games (and their expansions) were fantastic. But I'm also really into that style of RPG.

No particular order

Dragons Age: Origins (2's all right but origins just blew it outta the water)
Mass Effect 2
Baldur's Gate Series (PC)
Neverwinter Nights Series
SW: TOR
WoW (Yes i play both :P)
Mount And Blade (I'm really enjoying WFaS despite the bugs though Warband is amazing too)
Terraria
Battlefield BC 2
Fallout 3&4

Mount and Blade series (as a note, it becomes infinitely more fun when you RP as someone from Westeros)
Dwarf Fortress
Orcs Must Die
Neverwinter Nights 2
Medieval 2: Total War
Assassin's Creed series
Legend of Zelda series
Ace of Spades
Morrowind
Gold Version (plus the rest of the series, but Gold is the best in my highly nostalgic opinion)

Honorable mentions go to Bastion and KOTOR since I actually beat them. SW Battlefront 2 gets one because I played it forever.

I have yet to play Skyrim, New Vegas, Baldur's Gate, or actually finish half the games on this list.

I'm basing my list of amount of soul-consuming they've done in my time.

Pokemon Gold
Final Fantasy VI
Dragon Age: Origins
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Metal Gear Solid
Mass Effect
Super Mario World
Phoenix Wright
Rune Factory 3
Professor Layton
