Alpha sheets can now be added to games via the edit option in the alpha sheet display. In addition, statblock embedding should also work for the [sb=show][/sb] tags. Any problems, please post in experimental features with links to the sheet and the game.
Gruunk nods to the human with the big sword next to him...not having seen him carrying such a huge and obvious weapon earlier. He shrugs and looks at the owlbear coming towards him and says, "Me protect you...you kill it." Gathering his strength, the half-orc prepares for the monsterous creature's assault.
Tarner smirks as a restorative fluid runs through his veins, his internal mechanisms repairing themselves almost instantly. He takes a few steps towards the oncoming monstrosity, and mutters "Come on, beast. Just a bit closer. I wonder how that fur will feel when it's ablaze?".
Eduardo moves away from his glowstick, taking a few deep breaths to get his bearings and ensure that he's going to be OK for the upcoming battle. He, of course, lets the others move a bit deeper and ahead of him into the keep, taking a position where he thinks the Owlbear is going to have a hard time getting to, and waits. That's right, just right there and there . . . he encourages the others as they position themselves between him and the large beast.
You have moments to prepare before the owlbear charges in. The thing snarls and then snaps a claw at Gruunk. Then a tiny beast, looking like nothing so much as an animated toy dragon, emerges from House Macjyata. The thing screams and then flies in at Eduardo, maintaining a cool standoff distance of ten feet from the ground. Then it opens its mouth, and a jet of crackling glitter emerges in a rough jet, catching both Eduardo and Nurse in the blast. In a second, the tiny dragon disappears and then reappears a few feet away, buzzing angrily like a furious bee.
Gruunk watches the pale human collapse in the midst of the colorful blast. He starts to circle around to the other side of the owlbear and takes a cut at its knees attempting to bring it down, but the greataxe.
Gruunk attacks the owlbear, but the thing is bigger than he is and armored to boot. Moreover, it's lean, strong, and hungry. Which is to say that it blocks your barbarian's axe at the shaft with one of its great clawed forehands before screaming its rage and anticipation.
Behind the owlbear, you can see a pair of feyborn kobolds with short swords, mail, and heavy shields trotting as quickly as they can to catch up to the battle. The first slides in beside the owlbear and squares off with Gruunk, forming what for all the forgotten gods looks like a shield wall--with an owlbear! The second will no doubt form up next to the first, but it is still some ways back, so you have at least a moment before it enters the fray.
Before you have time to counter-attack, however, another of the tiny faerie dragons emerges from the castle. The things are beautiful--glittering purple, with wings that flap like a hummingbird's, and tiny spikes on their tails. But they are also deadly, as Fortune soon learns. This new one comes out of House Macjyata much as the first did, streaking across the battlefield maybe ten feet off the ground. However, once it passes Eduardo, it dives, coming down to head-height on Fortune and slashing wickedly with it tail. Worse, the movement is so quick and unexpected, that it catches Fortune off-guard, making her defending herself a serious challenge.
Barely up, but knowing that the situation is even more dire than they first thought, Nurse launches an attack from his hidden point. Drawing a bead on the nearest dragon, the assassin throws a handful of black dirt at the creature that seems to form into a blade mid-air as it strikes out. Moving over to then end up behind it, he levels his two-handed sword at the creature in the hopes of bringing it down. He then turns into a shadowy figure and seems to almost vanish from sight.
