So I’ve got this Dragonlance game rolling and I have an opening for one more player.
  • Obviously it’s a 3.5 game;
  • Characters will start at 5th level
  • Please use the 4d6 drop the lowest one for ability scores
  • I’ll take any class; ARCANE class characters should have knowledge of the setting before applying
  • Also it’s advisable to have TWO characters per pc for this game (so take that into consideration as well)
  • Knowledge of the setting is not a requirement, unless you plan on making an arcane character (as noted before).
  • Please stick to core classes and core races for now.
  • When it comes to Gods for the setting if you are unfamiliar you’ll need to see me for the appropriate one.

Feel free to poke around our game and see if your interested.
This will be a war heavy campaign with plenty of combat and I plan on taking this campaign as far as it will go.

Game Description:

Holmwealth 21rst 423 SC

Pirivan Ditrivus is a Mysterious enigmatic figure who has risen to power and has taken over Storms Keep. Defying all the Gods he has sworn an allegiance to the dead goddess Tahkisis and has sworn to return his Faction of Dark Knights back to power, and return them to the honour and the glory that it once was. The Knights of Neraka have other plans and have begun cleaning house, and with the shattered nation of Solanthus, and the Solamnic Knights in disarray, war of the knighthoods may be inevitable...

*******************

Lord Knight Ditrivus has sworn and Undying allegiance to the dead goddess Tahkisis, his mother! What’s even more shocking is it appears he has some form of unholy backing from somewhere deep within the abyss. A Dark Lord from one of the infinite layers appears to be backing this new move, and Ditrivus’s actions have not only gotten the attention of The Knights of Solamnia but member of the Legion of Steel, and the Knights of Neraka. A war seem to be brewing between all fronts and within Solamnia. The Massive nation still stands in ruins the battlefield could be anywhere...

The New Knights of Neraka have begun to clean house. The Lord of the Night has declared his faction the only true Faction and anyone not with them are mere mercenaries, and therefore subject to be hunted. Some have signed on others have vowed vengeance, but the battle lines have been drawn and everyone can see a war coming one way or another...

Now it seems as if the unstable and rocky nation of Solamnia may be in Danger as well, as a Horde of Humanoids begin to descend upon Solamnia, a horde led by a mysterious figure known only as Ankhar...

War seems inevitable on all fronts

Hi. I'm trying to find a good DnD 3.5 game to join on Mythweavers (sorta new to this site).

Now, I have played DnD for a while now, and I've read some of the Dragonlance book, however, I do not have any rules sets from the Dragonlance campaign, so if that's what you need for playing arcane spellcasters, then I will drop that idea.

However, I have a fair knowledge of the Dragonlance background as I've read about half of the Wars series and I've read the Twins trilogy.

I know arcane spellcasters usually go to the Tower to learn their craft, and they pledge themselves to one of the three moons/goddesses, the Good, the Neutral, or the Evil one. (I've forgotten names at this point)
Do I need to know anything else to be an arcane spellcaster?

Some what, if you plan on going into the towers of high sorcery, access to the prestige class will may or may not be needed. Its not a requirement to be a member of the towers, however to benefit from the experience I highly advise having at least access to the towers of high sorcery 3.5 supplement.

That being said we can always work around it, if you don't have the access and would still like to join as well.

if you don't join and plan on being a wizard this campaign won't work, as you'll be a renegade and hunted by the towers, putting a whole new spin on the campaign overall.

Also for this particular campaign, i will require N, (red) or G (white); black or evil will not be allowed.

The current and first adventure in this series pits the Players against the Solamnic Liberation Army and a small portion of Ankhars Horde…

The SLA has officially taken over the city of Solanthus and kicked all the Knights of Solamnia out. As a call goes out to the Lady Plainswind, a beautiful noble woman with exceptional skills in negotiation, she mysteriously goes missing. She is kidnapped on her way to the Solamnic encampment to begin the long drawn out process of negotiating peace between the city, and its nobles. Now with the Lady Plainswind missing all hope for a peaceful resolution may be lost, and the bloody conflict may continue on for a very long time to come.

To make matters worse the Solamnic Knights camp has been receiving supplies and reinforcements from Thelgarrd, and now it seems as if contact with them has been cut off as well.
Lord Marshall Emlin Tardanius: leader of the Knights of Somlania within the Solanthus region has decided to take a contingent of forces to Thelgarrd to investigate the matter.

But somewhere deep within the darkness lies a danger that no one can see coming as Ankhar and his horde begin to take advantage of the weakened state of the nation of Solamnia…

I'm hoping to draw more players into a game which will quickly develop into a very serious set of adventures for the PC's. anyone interested please submit to me a basic application that looks like this...

I hope you're still accepting!

Ok, I've managed to borrow a copy of Towers of high Sorcery from a friend from my group, but I've only skimmed it so far. I've found the prestige class for Wizard of High Sorcery though, which I've based the character below around.

I also used it (as well as the background info from your game's forum) to do a bit of research and craft a hopefully interesting and intricate backstory with everything I remember from the Dragonlance setting.

I hope you like it.

PS: I haven't started making any stats. Tell me if you need them.

I'd like to thank everyone for their submissions, (as I got more than I thought possible...holy cow!) I'm just sorry I only had room for one more player.

On that note, I would like to say that I have officially made my decision. If you haven't received a PM I apologize for not being able to take everyone, as everyone's application was excellent and truly made me disappointed I only had room for one.

Thanks
---Val
