I'm looking for 4-5 players for this Campaign, the agreement on sign up is you will at least try to stick with the party, sticking around to loot them is as good as being their BFF as far as I am concerned, though at least one of those choices probably means the party will transport you in a bag.

In summary you are a prisoner compelled to fight for your crimes in the field of battle, your party is the players who have been forced into the same squad as you and for the beginning you will be fighting for survival and forming the unbreakable bonds of friendship (lol). I will add plot hooks and storylines for the party to follow as they level and open up more options should they escape or be freed (and eventually we may see a much larger meta plot, who knows).

Character creation rules are detailed in the Character creation thread and summarized here; All party members start at level 3 unless they choose a race with a level adjustment of up to +2. LA+ characters and powerful spellcasting classes will probably find themselves under a Geas to obey orders. All characters start with similar equipment to represent the setting.

At first the campaign will be more hack and slash as befitting of a start where you are all prisoner soldiers, after that I intend to expand the campaign into a more diverse range of challenges as it goes more free roam and I am always open to suggestions should a player feel they have something to add.

For posting rates I would at least like you to reply within a day as I will, different time zones don't excuse 48 hour delays, excuses are accepted posthumously if necessary.

If theres anything I have failed to mention please leave a question and I will answer as soon as possible.

Game Description:

Freedom is a privelege, not a right. Ponder this as you are escorted in chains to your new life, a black company soldier, a criminal (or so they say) with only one option to live; fight for the imperial army as a suicide soldier or face the gallows or the chopping block.

Whether through mistaken identity, lazy guards or the inconceivable idea that you might have actually done it; you have been convicted of a crime severe enough that there can be no clemency in the minds of the state, in times of peace your life would be over but this is no peaceful age, you have no choice but to join the death squads of the empire as it battles its enemies. Dispensable, despised and desperate; you are the empires solution to its declining military during times of war.

For the weak this is a sure death sentence as any, for the strong it is one last chance, one opportunity to survive and live once more, waiting for their moment of glory and freedom.

But remember, the cost is high, and at worst all you gain is a fleeting illusion.

See nothing in the creation thread regarding how stats are rolled/bought. Can you clarify?

Thanks for that, I forgot to mention that stats are rolled in the stats thread.

Adding relevant info to the CC thread.

That should cover it.

And I intend to leave this thread open over the weekend and then make my decision based on how many signed up, I am aiming for 6 players so its essentially certain if only 6 apply, beyond that I will be mean and criticize your every mistake!

Muahahahahahaha

Are we allowed to play evil characters? If so I'm going to play a cleric archer (planning to go ordained champion) of Erythnull.
I hope you'll allow it, since it's easier to make up a reason why an evil character would be in prison in the first place.
