They say all elves are beautiful, that they are born thus. In Iorweth's case someone set out to change this, marking his face with an ugly scar that the elf partially hid beneath a crimson headscarf.
He is quite tall, even for an elf. Combined with his striking outward appearance, he can seem rather intimidating, and certainly not what you'd call approachable.
His overall appearance is unkempt, more practical than aesthetic. His clothing is worn and faded. What hair is visible from underneath his scarf appears messy.
Iorweth is less slender than what you'd expect from an elf - indeed, if not for the typically large pupil and pointed ears, it would be easy to mistake him for a very tall human.
Iorweth has been bittered by his harsh life and grown socially blunt. This makes him seem at times abrasive, but in reality he's just pessimistic. He is most certainly not what you'd call diplomatic.
Due to his past, Iorweth is disillusioned with society, and thus lives by his own law and code. While generally his intentions are in line with what society considers good, that is not always the case. He does not care much for the "greater good", but rather makes his judgement based on individuals and acts accordingly. He is just as likely to help an outlaw of good character as he is to kill someone who he considers evil, whether society sees it that way or not.
Iorweth does have a humorous side to him as well, and in good company he is known to loosen up and enjoy his time. That is, if the company can deal with his blunt nature.
