Soulan steps forward and with the movement he slashes out his two handed soul blade at the nearest kobald, flowing with the cut into several full circle maneuvers, aiming to return with a cleave into one beside him.

Raston strikes true against the kobold in front of him and it goes down in a pile of blood (#3.3). Soulan, seeing an opening to use his abilities to the best, takes a five-foot step to his right and with a whirl of his blade, slashes the 2 kobolds adjacent to him (#'s 3.1 & 3.4). Ark fires and puts an arrow into the left eye of the kobold (#3.2), it falls over backwards, dead. One kobold steps out of the room and stabs at Soulan. The other kobolds move to support their comrade.

Raston takes a five-foot diagonal step and attacks the lone kobold just outside the door, but the kobold sidesteps the attack. Soulan, seeing the side-step, swings mightily creating a large red mist as the kobold explodes. Sister Evie fires her crossbow at the one just inside the door but her bolt digs into the doorjamb. Ark shoots the kobold in the knee, the arrow goes through and out the other side. The kobold yelps just before he falls over, dead. The rest of the kobolds stand ready to attack anyone who enters.
