It works out well, since I've always wanted to try out a shield-slam focused character, and with the ability to get the Shield Slam feat at 2nd helped to seal the deal. Frontliner and scout in one!

Nah, Cap is a Lawful Good Fighter with maybe some levels of Rogue. :P

I would say levels of monk for the whole peak physical condition and unarmed fighting skills.

The noble-part of my background was nothing more than afterthought to the concept. I could take it or leave it. The important part was his attitude toward the cluster of temples and being sent off under the premise of it being for the 'good of the temple'. To be frank, I don't know the Pathfinder universe very well (it's on a long to-do list) so I went with themes over specific crunch.
