Roll20 -- Virtual tabletop gaming that tells a story

Sure, it's definitely worth looking into.

Here is the Roll 20 Youtube channel, it has several videos that explain how the program works. (As of now, since we are expecting some changes once the beta is over)

Enjoy!

Here is the link to Roll 20's Twich.tv channel with recordings of the bi-weekly game, played by the developer's table.

(They are playing right now)

This looks really great, I have used fantasy grounds 2 a bit, but this is definitely looking to be better.

As soon as they get it to work on mobile browsers I will be completely sold. Being able to use my tablet to run/play will be awesome

Tabletop Forge looks very interesting. It uses Google Hangouts, which is an excellent medium for live RP. I'm keeping an eye on this one.

I just wanted to let you guys know that Roll 20 has entered the "Open Beta" stage.

So feel free to go to http://roll20.net/ and create an account so that you can participate in the beta and test Roll 20.

Also, I like to add that there had been some very exciting and much requested updates in this new version.

Cheers.

Ran my first session last Thrusday and it went really well. The program is pretty robust but still easy enough that people who had never seen it picked it up quickly.

It should be noted that Roll20 now has a Google Hangout Feature as well

I just found it; it's nice and slick. I like the fact that you don't have to hook everyone into Google+ to use it, but that it does have that option.
