Prelude to the Story: You notice the road is wide and well traveled as you come upon the of main entry to the river town of Bellis. The sentry approaches you, and seems quite under whelmed by your arrival. He gives you a look, and seems fine enough with your passing. After a nod and a gesture, you proceed up the muddy track and through the rickety and ram shod walls that encircle the township. The sun shines sparsely through the thick trees mixed about the dwellings. You see many of the working folk going about their chores. The bakers cart their aromatic breads to shop, and the women are gathering brightly colored vegetables to bring home for supper. Tradesman outside their shops are selling tools or banging at metal with mallets that thunder in the air with a CLANK CLANK CLANK. You find yourself quite relieved to be amongst civilized folk. Most of these townies don’t know the life of a traveler. There will be many questions at the inn tonight. Have you been in battle? What of the strange doings in the North? Did you ever kill any strange beasts? Do you know magic?
You are used to this type of questioning in each new village or town you have entered. It is a small trade off for a soft bed and some warm meat in your belly. Besides you know the next great adventure always starts in the most mundane of places… it seems every town has it own story, and its own secrets. Perhaps Bellis will reveal some her’s before the night passes…

Number of Characters: 2-3

Posting Requirements: Once a day.

Sources Allowed: Core Rulebook, Advanced Players Guide, Inner Sea World Guide, Bestiary 1, Bestiary 2, Game Mastery Guide, anything Pathfinder is fine… if I don’t have it, I’ll find it!

Character Creation Rules: Characters start at Level 1. All standard races/classes from the Core Rulebook and Advanced Players Guide are open. If outside of that scope, please notify me first so that I can be sure I have the right books/info to handle a character outside that spectrum. Roll 2d6+6 x 6 for stats. I’m looking for interesting/balanced characters that I feel will fit the dynamic of the story, and work well together. I don’t have any set ideas in mind, and love creativity… so feel free to do anything from your standard fantasy basics, to that off the wall idea you’ve been holding back. You character submission can be made directly to this thread, please include a background along with your standard character sheet. The story is set in Golarion… you will be in a small fringe town in Andoran… but your character may have come from far off lands within the Golarion setting.

Posted my basic outline of the character I wanted, really I've had this one sitting on the back burner for a while and I have wanted to use this idea every since I saw the race introduced into Pathfinder.

This game looks pretty interesting. I've got an idea for a Magus that goes into Dragon Disciple; I know that wouldn't ordinarily work, but there's a 3PP Magus archetype called the Cabalist that basically just makes the Magus a spontaneous caster instead of a prepared one, and trades a few class powers for sorcerer bloodline stuff. Is that something you're prepared to allow?

If you're not too keen on the Cabalist, I could make the same character concept work as a Fighter/Bard or Fighter/Sorcerer if you'd prefer.

EDIT: Actually, never mind on the Cabalist, I think I'm going to go Bard after all. However, I do have another question about multiclassing; how do you feel about psionics? Specifically, Dreamscarred Press' take on the Soulknife?

Hey ProximaC... not really familiar with psionics stuff by Dreamscarred Press.. but it you can get me the material, and its not going to be adding too much onto the table... i'm totally open to it.
