The creature's own power and momentum pulled it forward as Zip sudenlly darted underneath it. It tried to grab at him as he brushed past it, but he was too quick. It tumbled forward onto the floor where it lay sprawled across the cold dirt road. It lay there for a moment, before slowly drawing its hooves in to begin and try and lift itself up once more.

As the creature took its time getting back up, Zip took this opportunity to strike back, with a small moments pause as he said one last thing to the zombie mare thing...

"Sorry 'bout this." Bam! The crowbar slammed on her head.

Zip must not be a cruel pony, his kind heart makes him hesitate. His swing doesn't have much power behind it.

A dull wet thud rings out as he strikes the downed pony, half heartedly. Despite recieving the blow, the creature doesn't seem too phased by it. It continues to rise up, despite being struck by Zip.

(( wait but...its plus two for my last roll, cuz of the crowbar i forgot to add in. So if its a tie...who gets it? ))

((Well the way the rules work... The damage received is equal to how much the attacker beat the defender... So if you rolled a 3 and they rolled a 1 they would take 2 damage. Since the result is equal, there is no damage.))

(( Ah, I see. ))

Zip did NOT back off after one blow though, he smacked her again, this time with some effort!

What had happened to Zip's kind heart? He raises his crowbar a second time, and this time brings it down with a renewed resolve. There's no way that did nothing... Right?

Despite taking the heavier blow, the creature continued to rise. It lunged forward once again, trying to grip Zip tight in another cold embrace.

IF he dodged it successfully, then his next move was going to try and hit her again, from the side.

Zip manages to slip away from the creatures grip, but in his frantic bid to avoid the creature he could not swing at it properly. Though he struck it, it did jot seem to mind much.

It again lunges at Zip.

The monster attacked again too quickly for Zippity to dodge. He held up the bar again to try and block her attack.

It wasn't enough against the monsters attack though. He buckled under the force and took a few strikes from the devilish mare. It was mostly his face the took the blows, his cheek and snout burned. But he didn't have time to wince at the pain, he struggled under the monster and tried to wrestle the mare off of him.
