-Kerim's behaviour is usually sarcastic, and can be a bit condescending to those he thinks are lesser than him.
-Most people start out as lesser than him, but even people without any magic, even a BSF (Big stupid fighter, for those who don't know it) can gain his respect.
-Even though he is usually considered pretty mature, he thinks the fact that one can cast weak spells without resting inbetween is great, and has thought of many ideas to use it. He can be fairly childish, and a bit of a trickster, with those. Though you won't see a great laugh out of him, mostly a small, glad smile.
-More about magic: Because his physical capabilities aren't all that great, he usually uses mage hand, or similar spells, to grab things.
-He can often be amazed by several things that most people in this world already know, and wants to know all about it.
-He can sometimes have less-than good, slightly sadistic tendencies, and is not above using illegal, or way illegal means to get what he wants.
-At some points, mostly magic, his restraint is close to nil. When he gets annoyed, or he just things of something interesting, he can, and will, dye somebodies hair pink.
"You think we're close?" The elven wizard asked, running up a set of stairs with the rest of the group. "I don't know, perhaps he's in the next room, perhaps it's much later." The rogue of the group, who looked something like a cross between a gnome and a halfling, replied. They had been going through here for hours now. They were all tired, the wizard was near the end of his spells, and that said, also near the end of his component pouch, and they all really just wanted to go home. But there was an evil to be slain, and they felt like they must do something about it.
"Wait, I hear something from over there, chanting." Said the bard, pointing to one of the side rooms. They all decided to go there, and when they got there, they saw a magnificent sight. A large summoning circle, spanning over an entire room, with in the middle a large red crystal, next to which the most handsome and powerful wizard in the world stood. He looked at them, and they all stood in awe of this superior creature, and died.
At least, that's what would've happened if he had gotten his way. But noo, they had to go and shatter his crystal, creating a portal through time and space, and left him stranded... Here. This place. It was in some points like his own home, but in many others it was different. But the most annoying part about it all was that here the magic worked different, so he could use barely any of his spells. Though sometimes he could suddenly think of a way to change it, so it could work here, most of them he had to learn from other wizards.
But aside from losing his entire array of world-shattering powers because of this place, he kind of liked it. The environment was a bit cooler, there were less people going for world domination, and those who did fought between each other so much they came to a stalemate, and wouldn't notice a danger when it farted in their faces.
After he had learned several language's of this world (His own appeared to be called celestial in this world), he tried to find a place he liked, and found it in the Grand Lodge. A place with a vast amount of knowledge, where he could learn and gain in power. He could also explore this world, find all it's secrets. And when he was done with that, he would finish his earlier plan, and rule this world instead.
Addition: The world he came from is the 3.5 world, with several changes to it. That's why everything works different.
what faction would an elven wizard, who got to this universe because of a magical teleportation mishap, and ended up without his usual amount of magical powers, in a world he didn't know, choose, while he is trying to explore this new and fascinating world, and in the meantime try to gather enough power to either get back to his own world, or otherwise to perfect and retry the plan he had on his home world: To use a major conjuration spell to summon all the forces of one of the other planes to this one, all under his command, to place himself on the throne of the world. (It is a long way until he gets there though, and his opinion may change. Also, he isn't evil, as he wouldn't abuse his power. Okay, maybe a little)
(blegh, don't want to reshape this into anything other than a question)
