Mara shakes her head in reply to Luka's question, “Not yet.”

While she waits a few more moments, she is considering which of the items to grasp in her handbag. While the Trianii is still under the delusions that things might be peacefully resolved, she would rather be prepared for the violent contingency. She lets Kat take the middle with Oln and stands to the side so she will have cover just in case.

Her fingers close around the deadly one.

I took the liberty of putting people where I think they are intending to be on my map update.

The Captain answers Mara's transmission, agitation obvious in his voice. "Listen, if you don't trust us, you're free to go, we certainly aren't stopping you. But if you want to negotiate for your stuff, which I only assume is what you're here for, then open the hatch already, instead of making threats I seriously doubt you could deliver on!" From his tone it's clear that that's as good an answer that Mara was going to get.

Mara doesn't bother replying to the freighter captain and switches that frequency to listen only just in case.

Looking over at Luka, she comments with scorn in her tone, “The reply was a bit threatening. Expect hostile greeting when you open the door, they have not surrendered. If anyone sees a weapon, open fire. They were warned.”

“Understood.”

Luka took a deep breath. Under the black leather jacket, his shoulders rose and fell.

He took one more look around at the bridge crew. Ms. Aragone’s gaze was focused, her face composed. Katur’s expression was inscrutable, a feline mask of calm. Oln’s featureless helmet started back at him blankly, but Luka imagined the Mando was grinning underneath.

“Let’s go.”

He hit the metal lever to open the hatch. In his other hand, his fingers tightened around his slugthrower.

The hatch swings open to reveal the room beyond as well as the "escort" the the captain had promised. Unsurprisingly it was not a small group of unarmed men, but what appeared to be a full on strike team meant to deal with crew of the Saber, complete with several droids wielding blasters and one slightly larger one with wrist mounted lasers trained on the opening. There are also several men scattered about, including some up on platforms.

The voice of the Captain, now quite smug echoes through the freighter. "I told you we'd kill you if you didn't mind you own business. Don't get me wrong, I got a lot of respect for you people rushing out to save the day and all, but business is business and my boss doesn't like loose ends."

Fortunately the combined suspicion the crew of the Saber had, as well as the advantage of planning when to open the hatch, meant that they were just as ready to respond as the Captain's would-be ambushers.

Snipe hears the comm message and quickly rises to his feet before scrambling over in behind Katjurr "Sorry my furry Friend, But all the rest of the good cover is occupied. give me a moment to charge my Taser and I can start to fry that soon to be Scrap heap!"

Move action to stand, Move action 4 squares to get behind Katjurr. Can't do anything else this round.

A Question. After this combat if I survive would I be able to Scavenge the droids to look for Accessories/Systems that are still useable/fixable? If not that is perfectly fine, but seeing as how I have a droid Chassis it would be a good idea to ask about it.

“Ambush!”

He was sure it was already apparent to everyone else, given the captain’s message over the intercom, but Luka thought he would put a fine point on it. He had been expecting an ambush, but not the sheer numbers they saw in front of them. The large droid, however, looked the most immediately dangerous.

“Concentrate fire on that large droid!”

Luka raised his slugthrower and fired at the large droid immediately in front of them.

Mara doesn't hesitate, removing her hand from her handbag, the frag grenade already within her grasp. She tosses it in through the open hatch to land within the midst of the droids. The look on her face is determined, she is not messing around.

She whispers into her commlink for her companions to hear, “I think we should pull back and make them come to us.”

She draws her pistol from her holster and keeps herself behind the cover of the doorjamb.

Katjur set his jaw, planting his feet and raising the rifle that Oln had given him before boarding the vessel. Droids were, in this circumstance, better then living beings. They didn't appear to be sentient or self serving, standard war machines, alleviating any guilt he had

squeezing the trigger at the biggest of the droids.

Grunting an acknowledgement towards Snipe, Katjur's eyes flicked towards Oln. Despite the man's abilities, he was small in spite of his warrior nature. Standing on the balls of his feet, he was prepared to throw himself in front of the Miraluka at any moment.

Attack roll on the largest Droid. Point Blank shot is giving my blaster shot the +1, as it looks to me the droid is well within 30ft.

Using a Swift Action to use Harm's Way on Oln.
