I just think "Would this work in Firefly?" I mean that show had fatal betrayals, abuse of clergy, politically scandaless lesbian sex, ear cutting torture, guys getting kicked into turbines and Nathan Fillion's ass, but it knew how much or little to show to keep everything relatively clean and wholesome.
