Players Wanted: 4 more (we already have one player confirmed) Application Deadline: Friday, October 12, 2012 System: Dungeons & Dragons, 4th Edition Setting: Forgotten Realms, 1370
Character Creation:
All characters will be created using the standard character creation rules presented on page 12 of the Player's Handbook, with the following exceptions:
Races: No drow or warforged. Neither of us are big fans of monstrous races, so an application featuring a monstrous race needs to be exceptional to get in.
Background: You may choose one General or Forgotten Realms background benefit. No other background benefits may be used.
Themes: We will not be using themes for this game.
Equipment: One magic item of 4th, 3rd, and 2nd level, as well as 680 gp you can spend in any way you choose.
Allowed Sources: All official content and Dragon Magazine is allowed. I don't own all the material, so I may need to look certain things over.
*Envy* How I wish people in where I live now play TRPG. : (
I got all my xp from pbp, even the 4e combats I learnt from PVP arena games.
It must be really fun to play it live.
@Noobiegameplayer
lol, I moved into a country 5 years ago where less than 5% of the people speak English...I wonder what are the chances of them knowing TRPG... ; p
My only hope is an on-line Skype game. I wonder where I you find it. Any suggestion ; p
You could trawl the Fantasy Grounds and d20Pro sites as peeps are often hosting games using the VTT to run games across the world -- some use Skype, others use Mumble / Teamspeak / etc
Name: Randolf Raydenshire III Race: Human Class: Paladin Alignment: Lawful Good
Protecting the innocent. Upholding the law. That is what Randolf has always been about. As a paladin he only seeks to help, to serve, and to protect. He is however a fun loving guy and enjoys cracking the occasional joke where appropriate.
Standing at a booming six foot, seven inches, Randolf strikes fear into the small enemies and gains a "respect" of sorts (being seen as a formidable and challenging foe) to creatures of his size. While his size strikes fear into his enemies, it provides hope for those he is defending.
Randolf, a man of passion, a man of serving the greater good, comes from the small, religious valley town of Rivertide. He grew up as an only child and was always stepping up to those who intended to harm others his age, whether that be bullies, or thieves. Shortly after he became 20 years of age, his town was attacked by Drow. To this day, no one quite understands why the Drow would attack such a small town. This is what led Randolf to the Underdark.
After the attack the town was broken. Many soldiers and townsfolk were lost. Randolf then began recruiting those that would be willing to lead an attack on the Drow in the Underdark. After gathering as many allies as he could the attack was planned and put into action. Upon arrival in the Underdark, the initial fight had seemingly gone well. Until a very powerful force was sent to defeat Randolf and his army.
Randolf's forces fell. No matter how hard they had fought, no matter what attack they attempted, it was futile. Randolf would much rather have become a victim of death rather than serve these horrible creatures. However, the worst for him had happened. He had become a slave to the Drow.
Randolf has two main goal. One is to simply escape the captivity of these Drow. Secondly, and more importantly to him, he wants to attempt to stage another attack, with stronger forces on the Drow Society and hit them where it hurts. He want's to go after the Matron Mothers.
A fellow warrior fighting to defend good and protect the world from evil is a strong ally to Randolf.
I would just like to point out that this is my first application here on Myth-Weavers and am truly hoping that I can make myself a great part of this wonderful community!
While I may not yet be the best at describing what I want to do to the 'T', I feel that I/Randolf could be a great asset in any Good party.
Thank You,

One more day. Deadline is midnight tomorrow night EST.
Sadly, I likely won't get to post advice on the more recent submissions. HOWEVER, everyone has done a fantastic job, and you don't really need my advice
Just wondering if someone is allowed to add more information on their character sheet. Was going to add more background to my character, but it might exceed four paragraphs.
