Alpha sheets can now be added to games via the edit option in the alpha sheet display. In addition, statblock embedding should also work for the [sb=show][/sb] tags. Any problems, please post in experimental features with links to the sheet and the game.
noob, my thoughts were to wait until the selection, then reread the apps and see who I might logically already know and add them in at that point. I doubt it makes sense to know everyone but I do think that possibly knowing some of them or being from the same area could give the characters an instant connection and reason to begin working together.
In my "real" app, Kirri is actually friends with one other player (just to keep her from stalking me) ... though as has been pointed out by Batman and Catgirl, if one of the players makes it and the other doesn't, the one who didn't would become an NPC Ally anyways ...
So no advantage ... but if I do get in, then yes as you suggested, when making up your character's mechanics, that would be a good time to find if you would have anything in common to ally you with the other accepted players
Dear Laurel and Hardy / Batman and Catgirl / Ratchett and Crank / you get the idea ...
I'm in the UK and it's 1630 (near enough), what time in the USA are you announcing the accepted applications and will you be PM'ing the winners and losers ??
Just so I know if I need to wait up tonight or whether I'm better off going to bed and getting up early to find out
The deadline for applications is midnight tonight EST. Because of that, we'll be announcing the accepted applicants over the weekend sometime - I've got a very packed Saturday, so Sunday will likely be the day applicants are notified. I will let the accepted applicants know through a PM and close this thread once they've all accepted.
