Despite your keen eyes and ears you fail to spot four tiny creatures as you enter the room. They flit into the air, looking and sounding like wasps, but each has a humanlike metal face and two minuscule limbs.
Sadly, you only notice them a fraction of a second before they attack and retreat to hide behind the sarcophagi, the statue and in one on the niches in the wall.

"Bugs! Argh, I hate bugs!" Stilgar bellows.

"WOOF!" Korb agrees from the other room.

Apparently oblivious to the mechanical nature (and human faces!) of the creatures, a surprisingly fiesty Stilgar hustles over the the wall niches. "How'd the little buggers even get in here?!" He mutters as he pushes past Dana and Liarra.

Stopping short of the third niche, he raises his axe in readiness to swat at anything that might buzz past him.

Dana kneads the area of her neck where she had been stung and glares at the bugs. As they flit and buzz, she starts realize their mechanical, metallic nature. She imagines tiny gears controlling their wings and even smaller moving parts grinding and whining within. It comes to her only as a fleeting thought, then a low catlike growl rumbles from her as she pounces forward with her

The sting took Liarra by surprise, as well as the unpleasant, draining sensation of the poison within her. She tried to

She commanded her body to release antitoxins to fight the poison, at the same time instructed her blood cells to close off the wound and expel as much of the poison as possible.
