Arial's eyes widen in suprise as Liarra and Dana are attacked by tiny metallic flying bugs. Watching them flutter away the young wizardress instinctively drops her arcane blue flaming torch and moves quickly to follow the tiny pests keeping her eyes upon them as they buzz through a nearby door. Drawing a vial of acid from her pouch as she moves forward cautiously, Arial waits for the bugs to settle before *

tossing* the flask of acid intent on splashing liquid death upon them... *sizzle*... the smell of caustic chemicals fill the air in the confined space where the acid hit.

Arial/DarkAngel

The party all try to attack the mechanical wasps, but only Arial manages to marginally damage one of them with her acid.
The cover provided by the sarcophagi makes the creature tough to hit directly, but as it leaves its cover to attack Arial it appears the flask has at least pissed it off.

The three attackers hiding in the sarcophagi room all attack Liarra before they return to their hiding places behind the sarcophagi and the statue in the corner.

Arial's eye's widen as three buzzing creatures swarm upon Liarra, and then swings around to see another attacking Dana nearby.

Oh my...

Raising her loaded crossbow instinctively, Arial moves a little closer as the Dwarf's prayers to Fharlanghn soothe her anxiety...

Amen.

Sighting the tiny buzzing gnat hovering near the ceiling, Arial slows her breathing and lets loose her bolt intent on obliterating the small pest.... *

Two more irritating stings hit Liarra in quick succession, but the monk has no problems shaking off the venom's effects. She tried swatting at the pests, but smacks her hand into the stone of the sarcophagus instead.

Biting back a curse, she took stock of the tactical situation and stepped back, her weapon at the ready. They could come to her and sting her now, sure, but she'd make sure they would pay for the privilege. "Lady Dana, step back. Let them come to us."

Mechanics

Dana grabs at her exposed arm, feeling the slight pinch there just as the tiny robot flies away. Another dose of the bug's toxin works its way through

her bloodstream, but her hardy constitution fights off any ill effects.

The paladin hears the monk's call to her and acknowledges the strategy with a nod. She takes a couple of steps forward, entering the mouth a perpendicular passageway, beckoning the mechanical wasp to try and sting her again.

Round 3

The dwarf fills his team mates with a divine boost to morale and it appears it is somewhat helpful.
Rulet manages to hit the flying construct hiding behind a sarcophagus. Not enough to bring it down, but it shrieks through its buzzing and it is obvious it can feel pain.
Arial is even more successful as she lets loose a bolt from her crossbow. It hits perfectly under one of its wings and the impact is forceful enough to bring the tiny creature with the bolt and piercing it to the wall.

All the remaining wasps target Liarra. Though she is ready for them, the tiny constructs manage to evade her attacks.
