Rulet searches (29) the room during the commotion to see if there is anything of interest that Arial suggests.

Stilgar Tuek

Stilgar bellows his frustration at the stinging gnats and rubs vigorously at the bites.

Stepping back to stand by the party he says with a snarl, "Whatever we do, if one of those buzzing beasties come near me, I'm going to swat it down." With axe raised, he scans the room for another winged victim.

Arial had been thinking for a moment, realizing the sarcophagi perhaps contained something of import... something worth guarding.

"The sarcophagi may be hiding more than those pesky gnats..." Arial suggests.

The venom had worked its way with Liarra, dulling her senses and slowing her reactions. As a result she's slow to respond to Dana's suggestion and Arial's counterpoint. "Whazzat? Um... yeah... maybe... move on. Or move back... sleep..." she said muzzily even as her body's training kicks in and drops her into a defensive stance.

As the others search the room and defend themselves, the greatly reduced Stilgar continues to put up a fight.
And though he backs up a bit, the remaining two monsters keeps attacking the dwarf.
Stilgar manages to cut another in half, though, before it can sting him and infest him with its vicious poison.
The last wasp attacks (13) Stilgar and withdraws again behind the statue in the other room.
OOC1: 1 hp damage on a hit, Fort save DC 12 or take 1d4 (1) dexterity damage.
OOC2: Dana would have gotten an AoO if she hadn't taken the total defense action. Rulet also, but he doesn't threaten the square holding a sling.

Rulet mumbles aloud, "Seems t-t-there's some g-grave v-vaults ahead of us and to the n-north, s-s-seems they have b-been op-p-pened and l-looted already." he says. "T-these things m-might be the result of the g-grave ro-bb-bbing."

Dana barely listens to Rulet, as she marches forward and enters the chamber to confront the last of the mechanical insects. "Let's be done with this annoying pest and find out what they're protecting."

With her longsword now drawn, she swats at the winged nuisance with her blade.

Arial rushes in with her sack open in an effort to grab the flying pest within it's depths in a flanking move as it comes out to bug them.

I'm hoping that by using an object to grapple with the gnat doesn't get an AoO vs Arial, rather an AoO vs the sack

"Ha! Got another one of the little blighters!" Stilgar is too busy emphatically celebrating his triumph to notice the last of the bugs ineffectually trying to sting him through his armour, or spot it zipping back behind the statue.

"Where'd they buzz off to? C'mere ya pesky gnats!"

Dana misses the mechanical wasp, but Arial is successful in bagging the strange creature.
She captures it in the sack and it whizzes viciously. You all realize it's probably just a matter of time before it manages to work its way out of the sack with its sharp stinger.
