cringes as the stench of death hits her like some charnel miasma. Her stomach roils and her abdominal muscles clench as the disgusting fumes wear on her.

"How ... foul," Dana says weakly.

Stilgar nods to Rulet's suggestion. "Yes, perhaps we should look around some more." Stiffly, he waddles toward the open stone door and peeks inside... "I do hope Verduun and Gola haven't been disturbed."

Arial looks relieved that no necromancy was at play with a tad bit of disappointment that there were no treasures to behold. Moving back out of the chamber pocketing her vial, Arial picks up her crossbow, loads it and then picks up her everburning torch before seeing what everyone else was doing.

"What's the hold up... some kind of trap ?" Arial ask's Rulet expectantly.

Rulet has already discovered all of interest in this room. There are several vaults that are opened and looted, but some remain intact.

As the halfling moves down the stairs, he is stopped by a massive stone door with a strange picture etched into it.

"Gaaah !!" Arial exclaims as the light of her torch reveals the beholderkin.

Getting over her initial fright, the young wizardress takes a closer look at the carved words beneath the horrid aberration.

looks long on the etching, eyebrows steadily climbing up his forehead. He looks about the party with a wide-eyed expression that silently asks 'how did harrowingly macabre just become utterly bizarre?' "By Fharlanghn, but what in the hells is that?!"

Arial's eye's widen after a few moments of contemplation.

It's a puzzle door !... hmmm...

After a few moments of reflection, Arial presses parts of the door with her torch in the hope of opening it...
