To make things even simpler you two could have been working together right before the crash and thus mm is on the ship

Oh man, 12 3 times in a row!

Qoocgo was quite aware of Charis Valkus. He had done quite a number of contracts and deals for him, while he didn't personally prefer accepting his contracts (Nor did Charis Valkus enjoy giving him any,) he was often used as a backup, when a previous courier would fail or get caught. He would be one of the few backups that were decently reliable. While he wasn't up-to-par with his potential, he was aware of how decent he was in his missions.
Awhile back Qoocgo had a mission assigned with his son, Aspar. Qoocgo was to aboard Aspar's ship and lead him towards a contact in an outerworld planet. The contact wanted a shipment of droids that were currently banned in the sector. Once they landed and unloaded the cargo safely, Qoocgo went out to go find the contact, who was close nearby.
Ahh, the good you have? Lovely
Yes, every single bit you have requested
Lovely, men, acquire the cargo.
As the contact begins to smile.
The Contacts henchmen go and acquire the cargo, Qoocgo and Aspa sit there awkwardly. Qoocgo smelt something fishy, Aspa appeared to have caught it before he did.
Well, considering now you have the cargo, I suppose we shall take our payment.
Aspa says.
What payment?
The Contact says with a grin.
1750 credits? for the delivery of the droids to you.
Said Qoocgo
Oh yes, I much forgot about that... Men...
The Henchmen suddenly dropped everything and pulled out their guns, aiming at Qoocgo and Aspa. Who unwillingly put their hands up.
Now, you'll both stay there, wait until we leave, and fly your merry way back to your filthy putrid Jawa-smelling father!
Some of the henchmen disarm and begin towing the cargo away, while some still stand there aiming right at them. Aspa wasn't going to let anyone get away with saying something like that. This became personal.
Listen I have a plan.
Qoocgo looks puzzled.
The second I start firing, you run onto the ship and get everyone else the hell outta here. You flew here, you can fly back. Tell my father to inform Fenogu on Eriadu.
Qoocgo, not arguing, nods. Moments later Aspa draws his weapons and begins bursting fire upon The Contract while diving onto the floor. Qoocgo also pulled out his blaster to give some covering fire as he ran towards the ship hearing nothing behind him but sounds of conflict and fighting. He didn't waste no time upon leaving the planet.
It didn't take Qoocgo long before he started panicking,
how was he going to tell his boss that he got his son killed?
That's when he decided, he wasn't. He was going to play it off, saying his son took too long to arrive at the designated area so he took off without him. He would also tell him that it's a good thing he didn't as it was an ambush there waiting for us.
But that wouldn't work, your IN his sons ship. There was simply no way out of it.
A little before arriving on the planet where he was going to inform Charis of his loss, a small Light Freighter was speeding up on him, hailing him. He answered. It was Aspa
Well well well, I don't think my father would like you very much if I just vanished would he?
Qoocgo much surprised, and relived to see Aspa is still alive.
You had me worried, I really had no way of getting out of that story.
I can handle myself, probably better than you can...
I cease to argue. I had a gut-feeling we weren't going to live at the end of that anyway. You however have practically saved my life. I shall be in your debt.
Charis, hearing the story wasn't very happy of how things went down, but things could have been much worse. He had been duped a good sum of money, and had an unpaid worker at the hand. Qoocgo, however refused to accept any payment. Saying him getting out there alive was plenty of payment for him, and shortly left. Aspa and Qoocgo have since then, have had very few run-ins with each other. Mainly at canteen's around or perhaps even another mission from Aspa's father. They even one time ended up being on the opposite ends in a contracts, they smirked, traded, and left to get their credits.
I think I wrote a little to much, but I really liked the idea of this.
