OK so with 4 L2's and 2 L1's the Average Party Level is 1.7. As this is a Season 0 Scenario, and built for 4 players, the APL is supposed to be 1 greater, or 2.7. This rounds to 3. Now...I'll leave it to you to decide....Do you want to play the Subtier which is appropriate (3-4), or do you feel more comfortable playing down?

To best decide, you probably should know your rewards.

Subtier 1-2 - 775gp, access to Bracers of Armor +1, Potion of Remove Paralysis, and a Scroll of Remove Disease

Subtier 3-4 - 1540gp, access to the above, plus a Handy Haversack, and a potion of cure moderate wounds.

Are we likely to die horribly if we play up?

Perhaps your deaths will appease the Game Gods and Aukan will survive to a ripe old level.

My tengu cleric will definately be a ranged attacker either way.
