DnD3.5e: Non-lawful unarmed combat specialist?

Non-lawful unarmed combat specialist?

I was wanting to try making an unarmed combat specialist without having to use a lawful alignment. Unfortunately I only have the CRBs, so my knowledge is rather limited. Could someone perhaps advise me on some SRD classes/ classes that I could use instead of Monk? The character would be level eight.

Off the top of my head,
Unarmed Swordsage from ToB.

Alternatively, Barbarian/Fist of the Forest (Complete Champion)/Frostrager (Frostburn).

Both of these get almost everything the Monk gets, but better.

My bad, didn't see they had to be SRD.
You could try the Psychic Warrior.

Well they don't HAVE to be SRD if someone is willing to tell me how they work. It's just that I can do SRD stuff on my own without extra help.

Psychic warrior, with the right build, becomes an utterly beastly "unarmed"(You will mostly be using claw powers) combatant. You might want to look into the superior unarmed strike feat in I believe player's handbook 2, which gives any old character a monk-like if inferior progression on unarmed damage. Monks just get like +4 levels on their damage if they take it.

There does exist a non-lawful monk variant, although I can't speak on where.

Chaos Monk, Dragon Magazine #335. You can find it online with a quick Google search (it's on page 66).

Barbarian with Improved Unarmed Strike. Done.

Monk, and straight-up ignore the ill-considered "must be Lawful" requirement. Done.

Homebrew up a non-Lawful Monk like unto the alt-alignment Paladins in
Also available as part of the SRD
UA. Done (eventually).

Duid does just fine with Imp. Unarmed Strike and a monk's belt. Or if you don't like wild shaping, use this druid variant: Swift & Deadly Druid.

If all that you want is unarmed damage, be a Fighter and take all of the usual Weapon Focus type feats for your unarmed strike, wear a monk's belt, Imp. Natural Attack feat, etc.
