Sometime in his past he was coated thoroughly with black paint from head to toe, but bright green eyes and glimmers of bright metal and fine woods shine through worn portions. The paint also disguises numerous dents and deep gauges throughout the warforged's body.

The warforged is straightforward and practically simple. His time in the guild has tought him to at least recognize the figurative language that organic types tend to use, but he himself isn't quite able to use it as well.
Similarly, he also often misses shades of understanding, and all to regularly when confronted with a difficult and tricky moral decision he fails to recognize that there was even a problem.
He is almost unfailingly obediant to those in authority, so it is fortunate that currently he believes the hidden guild to be the only authority in the world. Recently, with the frequent changes in status among his organic superiors, he has begun to question whether or not the guild's leaders truly qualify.

Brute Nine's earliest memories is from the alleys. He has vague impressions that he came from elsewhere, but his battered body has lost anything more than a certainty that there is more to his past. He was found in a trash heap and... fixed... by a skulking little man named Tybault. Tybault used Brute's muscle to climb the ranks of the hidden guild. The man had long had a great deal of both ambition and intelligence, and a loyal bodyguard was all he needed to rise meteorically.
During this time Brute has become an established figure in the guild and in the city. He has often been known to wander the streets on missions for his superior, arranging for the protection of various merchants and making sure that beggers paid their taxes. Even after Tybault died - a natural death, Brute was told, with purple foam fizzing out of his nose, ears, and fingernails - Brute Nine has continued to run errands for the guild.
