- Ravenglass: Gateway to the Five Ashes Located on the shores of the Ocean of the Gods, Ravenglass looks out towards the sea and what is known as Eyes of Penance. The once active volcanoes massive explosions have left large deposits of pyroclast in the area and most of the obsidian throughout Kildaire has originated from this town. Artisans of all varieties as well as those obsessed with the Five Ashes, sailors and fishermen, farmers and merchants call Ravenglass home. This town was once overly wealthy for the population but has recently leveled out as more people have moved here to study at the Seminary of the Five Ashes. This college is the mecca of religious study and was founded in Ravenglass for its proximity to they Eyes of Penance and the Five Ashes.
- Iopa: The capitol city is ruled by Laima Ragana, a renowned half-orc sorceress whose beauty can only be described as foreign or exotic. Iopa is the center for general magical studies as well as housing the Halls of Tomes, the greatest library of magical and mundane texts in all of Kildaire. The Halls of Tomes presence also has allowed for several universities of intellectual study to exist. Laima Ragana's house of private guards, The Masked Owls, are elite guards with a range of abilities and powers. Their name comes from a stylized yet simplistic mask which they wear as a sign of....
- Waterstop: Waterstop is an overly wealthy little town nestled in-and-among the NightQuartz Narrows at the end of the Gnomad River. NightQuartz Narrows was founded by Kroan Ironhand, his wife and three of his clan who left Torrun in search for a place of their own. Waterstop is extremely wealthy due to the demand for the goods which the residents produce. Besides some farms that are located on the surface, most of the residents live in an elaborate and beautiful series of housing communities within the ground and the cliffs of Nightquartz Narrows. The primary office of the Griffon's Eye Coterie is located in Waterstop and run by its founder, Dorian Ironhand.
- Cushmo: The proverbial den of debauchery within Kildaire. The city is the second largest of the continent and is run by several Guilds of the negative persuasion. The Hidden Star (named as such for the five guilds whose headquarters are located in a rough star-shape proximity) control separate activities within the city and also posses five of the seven seats of the ruling body of Cushmo, known as the Brotherhood. Information brokering, illegal magical goods, prostitution, gambling and rumors of slave trading are all known facets of the cities facade. Cushmo holds ex-soldiers, criminals and adventurers looking for easy money and more than enough slickster businessmen to keep their pouches light. Cushmo has prospered for along time within these parameters but lately more substantiated talks of the slave business and rumors of a guild of evil mages has caught the attention of Queen Laima Ragana the Duchess.
- Lugalund: Lugalund is a moderate sized port town that offers incredible views of the The Cliffs or Rubble as well as, some say, on really clear days, a faint view of the Culdasaw Spire to the north. Lugalund, being approximately surrounded by the phenomenal areas of The Valley of Unrest, The Culdasaw Spire and the Fhuisad Wastes, has more than its fair share of oddballs and 'exotic wares'. The locals claim that Lugalund was founded by explorers coming west from Cymbria but there are no locals who claim to be of Cymbrian decent. Lugalund, due to the geographical location and the surrounding terrain also make it a very peaceable homestead and there are more than a few retired adventurers who end up calling it home.
- Simpleton's Cove: Simpleton's Cove is located on the south-southwestern corner of Kildaire in Greenwater Bay and amongst the grandeaur of the Vyum Forrest. Greenwater Bay is, as the name suggests, the most enchanting color green-blue you can imagine. Because of how far the inlet goes into Kildaire, the waters are typically very calm. The beauty of the area is doubled with the presence of the great Vyum trees. Most of the Vyum's are oldgrowth and during the fall time there is no more beautiful a place to see the colors change. The leaves of the Vyum are as long and wide as a troll forearm and have a shape which loosely resembles a hand; in the spring and summer months the are concolored with a lighters green on the top and a deep emerald on the bottom of the leaf. When the colors change in the fall season the leaves typically change into one of three colors; a fiery orange, a lush ruby and a rich plum color. Simpleton's Cove is part small port rest stop and part adventurer retirement community. With a small amount of shipping actually taking place in Simpleton's Cove the harbor is mainly used for docking so that shipping boats can resupply and so that sailors can have a night off. The Docks area is a bit rough for that reason but the few taverns that are there have good security and a friendly atmosphere none-the-less. The main shopping section of Simpleton's Cove is set upon a giant boardwalk/platform that sits above the waters of the Cove and connects the east and west banks of the town. The docks are located on the east bank and the residential area and The Gilded Chalice, a very upscale inn, are located on the west bank.
- Tiverton: Tiverton is a town with one of the mast varied racial makeups of anywhere in Kildaire. Once the target of Bra'gal's advancing horde of savages, it was saved in large part by the efforts of Sulmar, a half-orge who deserted one of Bra'gal's elite scouting parties for the main horde. Sulmar still takes residence in Tiverton, which has grown quite large as of late due to the appeal of a 'savage-friendly' town. The lack of racial tensions has brought forth the likes of goblins, orcs, lizardmen, goliaths and half-ogres who wish to live a more 'civilized' lifestyle. These residents are typically enlightened specimens of their race, most of which attained enlightenment as members of Bra'Gal's army before it was defeated. Located just outside Fhendra's Pass through the Dragonspire Mountains, Tiverton is a vital access point from the Ocean of the Gods to Carthage.
- Toruun: A dwarven constructed stronghold in the Cliffs of Rubble. Toruun is home to various denizens but the dwarven race is prevalent. The stronghold is constructed mostly within the mountains but there are several areas which have open ceilings looking up into the heavens. Toruun, polulation wise, is probably the third or fourth largest settlement in all of Kildaire.
