Cannith Foundry

House Cannith has been providing material services to the original city-states, later the Kingdom of Galifar, and most recently Galifar's successor nations, for nearly 1,500 years. They're quite good at what they do. And what they do is profit from the sale of mundane and magical items across Khorvaire. Their techniques are kept in secret to secure their place as a mass-production giant. In the same manner, their research and development teams scour ancient ruins for techniques that may prove useful to the House. They have many items and techniques at their disposal. Those shown below are some of the most common that can be purchased to enchant items to the standards of a Dragonmarked House, but without having the item taken to one of the great forges for work.

Alchemy Items

Alchemist's Fleshrot
Alchemist's Vile Gas

Dragonshard Items

Blasting Chime
Dragonmark Rod

Enchantments

Oil of Magic
Oil of Swordbane

Unique Items

Though House Cannith has had the monopoly on magical creations since the beginning of the Kingdom of Galifar, other magics exist as well. Sometimes these are specific to items. And other times, strange magics infuse otherwise mundane or even magical items creating something that isn't powerful enough to be an artifact, but is far more than a simple Cannith-followed schema.

The Sleeping Shield
Eon, Wurm of Stories
Van Birstent's Luckmount

Symbiont Items

Disclaimer: While the names of the Symbiont items are in direct correlation to items of the same name from Magic of Eberron, the mechanics and the
fluff are entirely my own creation.

Leftover weapons of the ancient war between the Dhakaani Empire and the gibbering hordes of the Daelkyr, these . . . "items", are a reminder of a past that might be best left buried. They are also the legacy of the mightiest of the Lords of Xoriat, Dyrrn the Corruptor. Can the afterbirth of such alien evil be used for anything else?

Crawling Gauntlet
Living Breastplate
Shadow Sibling
Spellwurm
Stormstalk
Tentacle Whip
Throwing Scarab
Tongueworm
Winter Cyst

Boons

Magic is everywhere in Eberron. It colors everything and leaves its mark on even mundane items. But sometimes the greatness of a warrior, or the might of a spellcaster cannot be measured in the items they wield. Sometimes, those people are great simply because they have had training, have forged a reputation to rival kings, or have somehow gained the favor of Eberron's (mostly) silent gods.

Legendary

Those chosen by the Draconic Prophecy to play some part in the world's future are far and above the average citizen from any corner of Eberron. They are walking talking legends . . . even if they don't know it yet.

Artifacts

Though few in number, artifacts do exist in Eberron. Most of them have been around far longer than the Five Nations and some of them even predate the Dhakaani Empire. Powerful and mysterious, their owners are often harbingers of change, either good or ill. After all, the wheel of the Prophecy turns both ways.

Heart of Darkness - A sacrificial knife with a history steeped in blood and magic.
