Organizations
From Myth-Wiki
The Griffon's Eye Coterie Trust. This is possibly the single most important personality trait in today's world. The GEC values trust above all else. The GEC is selective with its clientele. We will work with anyone from large business organizations and politicians, to farmers and orphanages. We will not work specifically for the benefit of one government over another. The information that you seek may or may not be known to our organization. If it is known to us, or we feel we can find it, it will come to you at a price. Information is not cheep. There may be a time where you will need to decide whether to choose between learning the secrets of some far off dungeon and buying a shiny new piece of armor. We have working guild members in many parts of the continent. We have several contacts in the areas where we are not constantly active. We like to consider ourselves as "Finders of the lost." Much of our work requires large amounts of research. Some might consider us a type of private investigator, but we believe it to be too simple an oversimplification. We will research anything from family history to agricultural techniques to lost temples and dungeons. If you need something retrieved, we do employ adventurers. No job is too small if the money is right.

The Owls maintain a varied amount of different classes within its ranks as not all situations can be handled with steel alone. The ranks of the owls are portrayed through the color of the mask: brown is the lowest, gray being third, black as second and white is the highest rank.
The Order of the Five Ashes This group, located in the Seminary of the Five Ashes in Ravenglass are select religious fanatics, thinkers and soldiers who study, train and teach; it is believed to house the most pious people of Kildaire. The Order originated as several members of the Church of Five Ashes, which believed in the gods as separate but combined entities instead of the normal worshiping of one god. The Order is a membership-based organization where an existing member must sponsor a new initiate for acceptance. Fees are required yearly and are based on general wealth of each member but housing and food will be provided to any member at any church, not in their own city, throughout Kildaire for free. Members are ranked according to number of initiates sponsored as well as dues paid.
The Thing in Blue Trading Company TIB is the common acronym for this powerhouse of a maritime-based shipping company. The story has it that that TIB got its name from the first job it every hired on for. The founder, Gerlof Hayreddin, took over a small cargo ship when his captain died of old age at sea. When he got in to port at Perth, he tried desperately to get a job but most just mocked him for being young and inexperienced. A strange soul, as old as any took notice of Gerlof and hired the novice businessman to take him and a strange blue carving from Perth to Ravenglass. Every time Gerlof asked what the carving was, the old man only said, "The Thing in Blue". It stuck. Gerlof has expanded his company to a fleet that rivals the Kildarian Navy in number.
