This forum is for planning games (obviously), some level of debate is acceptable in order to determine system where this is optional but should not deteriorate to the level of 3.5/Pathfinder, 4E/3.5 or big five type arguments.

Recruiting should not take place in the game planning threads, if the game is ready to run create an advert.

Game Adverts

Game advert threads are for posts relating directly to applications. Excessive banter should be avoided. Once a game has reached the advertising stage the GMs decisions have been made, there is no scope for debating the GMs decisions.

Applications should be submitted in threads, if necessary private threads but public is preferred. Do not solicit email applications.

The GM accepts responsibility for maintaining any advertising thread; he is expected to uphold site rules within the thread either by gentle request or by use of the report button.

Ad threads should be closed when no more applications are being accepted. An open ad thread is a clear indication that applications are still being accepted. Do not attempt to contradict this by posting spurious "recruiting closed" types of comment.

Closing dates for applications, once published should not be shortened.
