If you can't buy the ToB

Dakar asked me about the "What if I can't buy the Tome of Battle?" question. I might suggest the Dungeonomicon, Races of War and other Frank Trollman/K homebrew work as free ways to go about it. Was going to edit this into the main page, but couldn't find a way to word it well. Benefit is that it's exhaustively playtested, creative and keeps to the original class concept. Drawback is that it's very much YMMV (Your mileage may vary) - you may have trouble selling it to a DM because it's such a drastic power boost (It's intended to bring classes from Tier 5-6 to Tier 2 levels) and patching in those classes requires some minor revisions to accomodate some of the other changes in the homebrew.

Dungeonomicon (Monk, Thief Acrobat, Assassin, Jester)

Races of War (Warrior, Fighter, Barbarian, Knight, Samurai)

This still leaves us without a paladin. Which reminds me - while the page covers the 'Big 5', it doesn't list the faulty classes people may wish to request/impose houserules or replacements for. Hyudra 20:16, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

I would consider Frank and K's tomes more of a 'bring everyone up to tier 1' option. I would alternatively suggest using this list of (mostly tier 3, with a few very high tier 4) classes: http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=174628 --Gavinfoxx 12:45, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

Unbalanced and otherwise quite bad Article

Okay so this article is quite poorly written and unbalanced in viewpoint, worse, it has my name on it. Who wrote it?

--LOL, who wrote this reply? No mention of what your name happens to be or your IP or anything. Nor does it mention why you think this is a poorly written article. Myth weavers wiki doesnt require a neutral point of view, I don't believe... --Gavinfoxx 12:44, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
