Warrant History
In the aftermath of the Battle of Terra and the Horus Heresy, the first Warrants were issued to what would later become the Rogue Trading Houses. The Da Camalann family had been bled dry in blood and resources by the Horus Heresy, staying however unswervingly loyal to the Imperium, and, once the forces of Chaos had been repulsed into the Eye and the forces of Mankind begun to rebuild the galaxy, a Warrant was granted to them.In the first centuries, the profits coming from the Da Camalann's Warrant were a useful addition to the dwindling finances of the noble family, which however never dedicated itself wholeheartedly to trade and commerce, wary of losing the strong military tradition that made them a household name in the Imperial Navy.
However, after their Initial Success, the Da Carmalann family began too struggle as more Mercantile focused Rogue Traders began too surface and strike out in search of riches for their own. While the Da Carmalann family did not fail as badly as some of the more less fortunate Rogue Trader dynasties, they still struggled too keep up with the hard bargainers and treacherous dynasties that had surfaced. It was at this time that they had realized that not everyone had the same noble intentions as they, and that other Dynasties would stoop to using heretical devices to achieve their goals. However, it would take only a mere few centuries for luck too shine upon them again.
