Atruos was a demon that was supposedly destroyed by Keirst, but due to the ever-present worshippers of Atruos, the demon has persisted in a significantly weakened state for many years. Atruos is the demon that kidnapped and slew Keilae, only to be betrayed by Nova and 'destroyed' by Keirst. It would seem that Keirst does not know about the existence of Atruos and his followers, otherwise Atruos would have been truly slain many years ago. Atruos holds his origins from the former Eldaian Sea, from which he rose from its depths and terrorized Eldai for several years before Keirst 'slew' him.
