Game Description

In the sleepy coastal down of Sandpoint, evil is brewing. An attack by crazed goblins during the annual Swallowtail Festival quickly turns into something more ominous as the shadows of a dark past come back to haunt the town—and perhaps all of Varisia. Can the heroes stop the awakening of a legendary runelord and keep him from reclaiming his lost kingdom of greed?

The Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path begins with a goblin attack and takes players on an epic journey through the land of Varisia as they track a cult of serial killers, fight depraved backwoods ogres, stop an advancing army of stone giants, delve deep into ancient dungeons to reclaim weapons of unbelievable power, and finally go up against an all-powerful wizard-king in his ancient mountaintop city.

What you need to do

  1. Read the Player's companion
  2. Make a character
    • Level 1
    • 20 point buy
    • Max HP 1st level & 1/2HD+1 after; d6=4, d8=5, etc
    • 150gp starting gold
    • Select 1 Campaign feat, this is in addition to any other feats you get at first level
    • Sources: Core Rule Book, Advanced Player's Guide, Advanced Race Guide, Ultimate Combat, Ultimate Magic, Guns will be "Common Place", with races the higher the number on this list, the more RP problems you'll probably face)
    1. Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Half-Elf, Half-Orc, Halfling, Human
    2. Changeling, Oread, Suli, Sylph, Vishkanya
    3. Catfolk, Kitsune, Nagaji, Samsaran, Vanara
    4. Goblin, Grippli, Hobgoblin, Kobold, Ratfolk, Tengu, Undine
    5. Dhampir, Fetchling, Ifrit, Merfolk, Tiefling

  3. Put the character on a Myth-weaver.com sheet
  4. Post it into the character thread for approval
  5. Read about dice rolling and how to post and stuff. (note: To post links and images you have to get 5 posts under your belt)
  6. Once the game starts try to check/ post every day so we can get a steady continuity going
