Misfits in Time and Space
It was just an ordinary day. You were going about your business, thinking about how to ask your boss for that raise, or daydreaming about the hot date you've got planned for Friday night, or maybe wondering how you'll cover the rent check this month. Nothing strange going on at all.
Until you stepped through a door and found yourself in a room that was bigger on the inside than it was on the outside, and a few minutes after that, found yourself on another planet, in another time.
So much for an ordinary day...
We're talking Doctor Who, of course. TARDISes, Time Lords, Daleks, Cybermen, and everything else.
I'm looking for up to six players to journey into the unknown realms of Time and Space, uncover evil plots, defeat hideous monsters, and hopefully live to tell the tale.
I'm going to be using The Window (basic system only, no funky dice, with one addition. Everyone should have Luck - at whatever level - as a basic trait).
what kind of characters? No Time Lords, for a start.
I'm looking for "regular folks," but really it's wide open. There are only two requirements.
First is that they are on Earth, specifically London, England (I'm an American, but this IS Doctor Who, we have to at least start out in the UK!), on October 1st, 2012. That doesn't mean you have to be FROM Earth, of course (but if you're not, you at least need to explain how your character is passing for human or otherwise avoiding unwanted attention).
Second is that you have to tell me something strange about your character. It can be as small as an odd recurring dream, or repeated incidents of deja vu, or the fact that you're the only survivor of a horrific car accident that by rights should have killed you ten times over. Or it could be something much bigger or weirder than that. Just something odd, or off, or...well, you tell me.
So who's ready to hop aboard the TARDIS?
